I don't know what people wanted... is there a single goalie available that doesn't come with glaring question marks?

We've got a guy in Samsonov who can at worst take some of the load off of Murray so that he has a better shot to stay healthy, and at best could start rounding into the player it was hoped he could be when drafted in the first round. Age 25 is when goalies tend to start putting it together.

Its as good a gamble as any I can think of. being an RFA next season is also a win. Sky's always falling with this fanbase though.

Leafs didn't receive market value compensation for only 25% so it technically can't be better than free

I hope it works out. But he's still seen as a talent only because where he was drafted
