Just because posters disagree with Leaf fans thoughts does not make them “haters”.
Posts like this are one of the reasons many don’t like your fan base. It’s a weird victim complex with you guys and gals.

I think he MIGHT Be referring to the ones calling Dubas "Dumbass" in these threads, or the ones who said "Marner almost has negative value" or "I can wait to see the Leafs fall flat on their faces AGAIN", or one of the other many, many, anti-Leaf comments that are said in here constantly.
Then some of ya pretend like nothing like that is ever said, and pull out the "victim complex" line. LOL.
I've read all those comments in the Marner threads(try everyday....).

Disagreements are fine. You'd be hard pressed to find one Leaf fan who feels victimized by a disagreement or anything else. What leaf fans object to is the constant trolls. Especially the same ones again and again. We dont feel victimized at all; it is a message board.

Speaking just for myself, I've only encountered fans that obnoxious on this website. It doesn't make cheer against their teams though, it's not the teams fault that some people are childish. So you do whatever you like, I just find it amusing and kind of feel sorry for you people. I mean it's kind of sad and pathetic that you aren't interested enough in your own teams that you spend so much time in Maple Leaf threads.
I guess it's true, Toronto is the centre of the hockey universe. That's why fans of all teams can be found in TML threads, merrily bobbing away. Carry on.

Some of the most obnoxious fans I've encountered on this site are fans of teams that have no history with the Leafs, and who's locations make it unlikely they're around any, so the bulk of there experience, which is the catalyst of there hate, is from the small number of encounters they've had over the interwebz.
To me that's a level of stupidity that's hard to describe, and I'd have to be like minded in order to reciprocate and hate their team/fanbase based on their behaviour.
For the Leafs, some hate is completely expected (Habs, Sabres, Sens, Bruin fans) but the bulk of the rest comes from people who act like Antifa kids who when pressed can't articulate why they feel the way they do, atleast beyond some stuttered retelling of being annoyed at some point, and turning that into the fuel they use to make sweeping generalizations about a group of people numbering over 2 million.
If he’s referring to the people calling Dubas “Dumbass” and saying Marner has negative value, then it isn’t the amount of people “leaf hating” that he originally made it sound like (he said half the non leaf fans) or does this mean half the leaf fans say things like hopefully Arizona doesn’t have a team any more soon so the leafs can stop paying for them, and how other teams are garbage in comparison?
Really? I got told I was a leaf hater because I said I only think it’s very possible that Matthews is over a point per game next year instead of saying it’s a sure thing.
So then all I have to do is have a Norris conversation with my friend about Buff and he’s had a Norris conversation?
Tell that to the posters who fume every time someone says Matthews isn’t a top 10 forward yet...

I'm not sure if @Gary Nylund is in character for the post above, but he certainly helps illustrate the point. I don't regularly see fans of other teams speak with such arrogance and in a patronizing manner as I do with the outspoken leafs fans.
