Loved Kadri but he cost the team the Stanley Cup last year and that can never be forgiven.

Hope the avs win nothing their fans are terrible.

We electric now

We full of energy

No other team even sees or hears us coming

That's kind of true, actually. Kadri was pretty much always visbile. I saw Kerfoot just appear out of seemingly nowhere a few times on Wednesday night.

Has anyone noticed that Pookie is gone? Must have changed his name to go over to the Avs boards and slag Kadri.

I mean it's the off season/ pre season, they posted here after Kadri was traded. I'm pretty sure we'll see them back once the season actually starts. I think most people post a lot less past mid July.

It wouldn't surprise me, would be like pulling a TWS and ... it wouldn't surprise me. The funniest thing about Pookie was that he kept saying "it's the crest on the front not the name on the back" when in fact the opposite was true when it came to him and Kadri. And yeah, I'd say the way he posts about Kadri is eerily similar to the way TWS (if that is still his moniker) posts about the Leafs.

They post even less when you put them on ignore. ;)

I don't know about all that but he should have just started punching him instead. The run was dumb, use your fists. Its kinda weird how he reacted actually. I mean normally people get mad, they yell and if they get really mad they punch or if you're Semin, you slap. Just a strange natural response.

Stop comparing Kerfoot to Kadri. How about let Kerfoot be Kerfoot and give him some time to find his comfort level playing for a new team. I am not even close to judging anyone until we start playing games that actually count.

Forget Kadri, he is gone.

That we knew would happen. Management once again put that roll on his shoulders and got the same result. Boston still laughing at Dubas.

No, Boston is upset that Kadri is gone. They were laughing at him, not Dubas, because it's so easy to rile him up and take him out of a series. Making the Leafs play shorthanded. Now Willy and Matthews can stick together instead of forcing Willy to cover for Kadri because of his dumb actions.

The officiating in that game was either fixed or gross incompetence. I don't believe very many officials to be incompetent people. Call me what you will, that series was likely tilted to Boston in my mind.

You guys still don't get this team is far too soft to win a cup.

They sat Martin and Kadri got suspended. So what did they do the next year knowing Boston would target Kadri? Absolutely nothing to insulate him. And what do ya know. Same thing happened. What's the definition of insanity again? They were very much laughing at Dubas. As a lot of us still are. Unfortunately it will take another year or 2 of failure for you to get it.

the definition of insanity is to think benching Matt Martin directly led to Kadri getting suspended and blaming Dubas

Kadri got suspended because he ran across the ice to cross check a guy in the face. What in the f*** does that have to do with insulating him?

I come in peace. Kadri seems like a fine hockey player, gets in the dirty areas and plays the game "the right way." Except when he's suspended of course.

Don't expect Kefoot to do anything spectacular. It's Barrie you want to watch. Hopefully he can be re-signed.

I've already seen Kerfoot do two things that Kadri rarely if ever does, which is a) thread a cross ice pass through the neutral zone to open up his winger to a great scoring chance, b) and appear out of nowhere to almost tip in a goal (another great scoring chance). I also saw him crush a Senator into the boards on a forecheck, so its not like he never gets into the dirty areas. That may not be playing the game "the right way" to you, but it is about being in the right place at the right time and certainly works for me. He comes across as the kind of player Andreas Johnsson and Trevor Moore are, with the added benefit that he can win on the faceoff. And that's fine with me, since with big players like Mikheyev and the likes of Agostino probably on his line, he won't have to play as physical as Kadri to produce and still be dangerous.

He did that to protect his teammates apparently. You know, because Boston plays clean and won't retaliate against our skill guys for Kadri running a dirty cross-check that put the guy out for exactly one period.
