Its a good fit, idk why people were clamoring for hall. He would just basically take the spot nylander already has. And he hasn't been in form at all this year, that trade would have cost likely Sandin + 1st or even Sandin + Amiriv with the way the cap retention would look especially.

Foligno brings that grit, he could move up to Hymans spot if necessary and bring a similar game. Noesen is probably an IR replacement type player. We should be good on defensive forwards on each line.

Great move and Rittich comes in in case Andersen wants to continue to poop on the ice each appearance.

The people wanting Hall make me laugh. Foligno is ideal for what the team wants for the playoffs. Infinitely better defensively than Hall and more physical. Can play either with Tavares or Matthews depending on the choice the coach makes. On top of Nash as well, the overall team defence just got better and riding a hot goalie in to the playoffs, this is the best chance the Leafs have had to win the cup since 92.

Keep Engvall, honestly he's a solid player.....sure he doesnt get many points but he does everything at a top level and is extremely fast for his size.

All of the live games I've went too, Engvall was easily one of the best guys every shift he did something!

We can add 3 rental players for the same cap hit.

Hamonic + Benn + any center we can grab for 1-2M....maybe Getzlaf if another teams willing to retain his salary.

Lets be honest he doesn't bring much to our bottom 6, he has nothing he excels at! Just your average player, sure he's fast some nights and can forecheck but he's not consistent...especially come playoffs he's a ghost.

Also we need cap for Hyman next season and more then likely Seattle would take him in the expansion draft!

If were able to add a player with more grit then Kerfoot and two solid defenseman for the same cap hit I think we should be all over trading him for a bag of pucks!

I see nothing out of Simmonds to say he'll have any impact in playoffs. He cannot skate. I dont' care how tough he is, he cannot skate to keep up. His game unfortunately has passed by, like Lucic's game

They are not impactful like they once were. Ritchie on the other hand is, Virtanen they have potential

Which is why he's not counted on to be a huge difference maker, but can still make one, and is paid accordingly.

you have expanded rosters for playoffs so its a mute point, you dont get rid of depth for nothing ..
