Dubas just wanted to get the trade over with so he could watch Wrestlemania

Admit it, he plays much bigger than that.he's not big,,he is only 6 ft
Are you not tired of seeing our guys get bounced around by the Habs, Ottawa with Tkachuk and Calgary with the other and Boston etc. and every other physical team? We added a big body who is willing to smoke players and flatten them who obviously a good leader being captain who has scored some nice goals. The 1st we gave may not even amount to the 1st we got, its a crapshootNo, but the one we got back definitely isn't bonafide anything but AHL bound and then off to free agency, probably the KHL I would suspect.
Ya might wanna check your look on this one.....it ain't lookin very bright.
Slight correction, 31st overall pickI was super hyped when I heard this on the radio while driving .. Came to HFBoards and people shitting on the trade was such a buzzkill. jesus christ.
We're going all in. And it feels great. Who cares about the 30th overall pick in a CUP RUN year?
Especially in this uncertain draft with no Junior even being played. Not giving up a roster spot in this trade was a steal.
We have a GREAT mix of speed, skill and finally.... sandpaper.
GLG. Great trade.
I could see him working with JT but ya im not a fan of the tradeThen they'll quickly realize that isn't where he belongs.
Whether they think so or not, they just paid a 1st rounder to boost their third line.
Cherry must want us all to have heart attacks... Game 7 OT geezeAlert!: Don Cherry picks Nick Foligno to score the game winning goal in overtime of Game 7!
Understood and could be true we don;t know at this point but me personally am tired of watching our big players refuse to finish their checks and our guys getting bounced around by the Tkachuks and Webers etc of the leagueIf that was the only point he was trying to make then ok. I'm not even saying it was bad to trade the pick. But I can understand the questions if Foligno was the right target.
Sure, I can see where you are coming from with saying its ok to trade the pick.
But I was talking strictly about trade value. The pick is worth more, and its disingenous to say that they cancel each other out. They can't turn around and trade Noesen for another rental like Foligno. Maybe whoever they draft busts but right now that pick carries the value to make trades with, Noesen is worth nothing.
He was constantly caved in against the Leafs and Lightning last year. All of the time. He had a 38.9 CF% with 66% OZS with Columbus in last year's playoffs. That is atrocious any way you slice it.

oh i totally agree with that,,he is Hyman with a bigger biteAdmit it, he plays much bigger than that.
He is a tough, finish your check type player that is an absolute necessity in the playoffs.
Well most highlights he looks bigger and hits hard and last years play off he is mean, physical and takes no &^% from anyone, he also probably can score again being put with some offensive gifted guys.he's not big,,he is only 6 ft

“He has a very specific set of skills” oh wait lolCan anyone tell me about Stefan Noesen?
oh i totally agree with that,,he is Hyman with a bigger bite
but the fact remains,,, he is 6ft and to call that "big" is just wrong
What are you hoping for and at what cost?i'll bitch if we don't go get more D depth
Well the GOAT is 6’5 and 230.oh i totally agree with that,,he is Hyman with a bigger bite
but the fact remains,,, he is 6ft and to call that "big" is just wrong

If you are looking for attention it’s in the dictionary between..... I don’t know but go look thereLet's hope Matthews doesn't get injured because he is the Leafs' only offense.
