Top 5 not bad so basically if leafs fall it could be like number 10 to 15. That's a solid homerun with minton. This is unreal deal.
Pre-emptive response ?I'm also not super high on Minten and Cowen or Danford, so factor that in.
and Leafs get a 6'5" defensively sound RHD, for two years after this one @ a good price... While losing nothing substantial off their roster.Top 5 not bad so basically if leafs fall it could be like number 10 to 15. That's a solid homerun with minton. This is unreal deal.
???One of the best trades this year because he's a leaf now.
Would have sucked if the signed somewhere else.
Always trust the fans who have not watched the said player as much![]()
Carlo isnt what he was maybe a change of scenery he finds himself again. This a good payment from the leafs.and Leafs get a 6'5" defensively sound RHD, for two years after this one @ a good price... While losing nothing substantial off their roster.

"We did not pay a high price."
Did you not read this bolded part of his post?Weird that you care so much then.
It would take some serious shenanigans for that first to be a lottery pickMinton is 2nd best prospect in Toronto and that 1st round pick 2026 is not protected . Donny milked this puppy good.
peak somewhere between kampf and Charlie coyle. Many leafs fans and literally every non leafs fan thought Minten was nothing special.
he’s likely Kamloops David Kampf.
The Providence Bruins starring David Pastrnak will lead us to gloryWatch Boston go on a run now and make the playoffs and have to play against marchand and Carlo.
He does come off as a good guy. Hope he doesn’t get his bell rung again which has really thrown him off what he could’ve been.I hope he does well. Good kid.
Because they were (unless you meant the 2025 4th-rounder sent by the Leafs).why are people reacting as if all the pieces have been announced?
Even if it's ln the 20s you can find some gems there. 1st round picks are the gold standard. It would take some serious shenanigans for that first to be a lottery pick
Yeah, that one year we had him. I still have a puck he flipped over the glass from before a game in the 03-04 seasonRaycroft was good for awhile wasn't he ?
A lot ofGetting a big, fairly mobile RHD in his late 20s with quite a bit of experience and possessing pretty high defensive upside at $3.5m for this and the next two seasons is a pretty decent deal for the Leafs. Physicality and offensive ineptitude notwithstanding a high-end pk-strong 3RD is going to cost you at least that much if not more on the open market.
Obviously, the big caveats are his scary injury history and the recent 1.5/2y downturn in his defensive 'production'. If Carlo stays healthy and shows more than a shade of the guy he was pre-24, I don't think the price would be considered 'too steep'.
