LOLNo. It's not.
We didnt really need help bottoming out. Even after this the hawks are still worse and no one else is close to as bad as us twoAs an outsider, I can see how it would hurt to have Hertl traded to Vegas.
But aside from that, I think this could be a great trade. That Hertl contract could have become untradeable. Grier got you a 1st and a solid prospect. Plus it helps you bottom out and get really good prospects. You'll get a beauty this year (one of Cellebrini, Demidov, Lindstrom, Parekh, etc...)
It's already bad. It's f***ing embarrassing watching the games and see 90% of the arena seats lighting up because they're empty. Moving both Duclair and Hertl on an already pathetic team is gonna make the rest of this season far more unbearable than it's already been. There will *literally* be 4-5k people most nights at the tank at most for the next 3+ years. I don't think most understand how serious this will get.
Don’t forget Givani Smith!Good news, now this clears some space for Grier to sign Duclair and Kunin to 8x8's.
You just know the team is gonna go on some "prove it" run to finish 31st by 8 points. We didnt really need help bottoming out. Even after this the hawks are still worse and no one else is close to as bad as us two
Vlasic gets snubbed againYall ready for new face of the franchise Like Kunin
For next year too.We didnt really need help bottoming out. Even after this the hawks are still worse and no one else is close to as bad as us two
That's cool. I'm happy for your wife.LOL
My wife teaches 10 year olds with more mental ability to handle life than 50% of this thread.
I wish I had something smart to say right about now but I’m just kind of sad tbh
You stuck around for Doug Wilson and his loser son destroying the team for half a decade, but this trade is what sends you over the edge?I’m done
He was already a tough trade and one more injury was going to make a trade even worse.People need to understand that between Hertl's decline in production, unlikely to rebound on such a bad team, combined with his age and annually compounded injury history, this was probably our last chance to move him and get anything of value even with retention.
They basically got slightly more value than they did for Goodrow.People need to understand that between Hertl's decline in production, unlikely to rebound on such a bad team, combined with his age and annually compounded injury history, this was probably our last chance to move him and get anything of value even with retention.
We didn't get anything of substantial value, we got the 30thish overall pick and a projected bottom 6 centerPeople need to understand that between Hertl's decline in production, unlikely to rebound on such a bad team, combined with his age and annually compounded injury history, this was probably our last chance to move him and get anything of value even with retention.
We live in the Evil Dead universe and Vegas holds the necronomiconVegas are cockroaches and evil only wins in this world
I just hate he went to Vegas but good Lord, so much flare for dramatics over fanhood over this deal
