When did anything like this happen?I’m sure you’d have the same energy if a Pens player two handed Ovechkin in the face and broke his jaw. That stuff happens in UFC, so after all it is entertaining, no?

What kind of p***y pulls another player's hair.
Here is the thing, there is video showing the pitch fork, kicking at the goalie, the punch not hitting him in the back of the head nor being choked. You’re kidding me indeed.haha you're kidding right? You call that kicking the goalie? What happens almost every game when there are people fighting for the puck in the crease. and yet deserves someone being choked on the ice face down and punched in back of the head.
Quite a few defend him any time the incident is brought up on these boards.
Maybe she’ll make itStop projecting.
Don’t disagree. What will happen vs what should happen are two different things.I'm still of the opinion that this will get nothing, because both Panarin and Buchnevich never lost full mental faculties, and therefore the PR from the media is not going to shame them into doing something, especially to a player who is as important to one of their bigger money-making franchises as Wilson is to the Caps.
That's the league's history, at least. I'll be more than happy to be wrong.
Look at the responses to this tweet. They're getting spammed with it.
If someone did that to Ovy, Caps fans would be calling for them to be banned for life.
The whole thing was a clown show. From the cross check to the neck of Buchnevich and subsequent neck punch to a prone player to ragdolling Panarin head first to the ice while he's without a helmet to the ridiculous alpha male ape flex in the penalty box to this stupid display on Twitter, the whole thing has been a complete and utter embarrassment to the league tonight. And its all because of a known offender that the league just doesn't care to punish. The fact that the deleted tweet is now circulating virally is going to really piss off NHL headquarters.
You’d like to think that wouldn’t impact the disciplinary process, but in this context you have to wonder if it adds a bit of prejudice to the decision.
Entirety of the Rangers basically called him a POS in all of their pressers.
Let’s see how the league reacts.
Wilson could blow a guy away with a cannon he wheeled onto the ice and Caps fans would say it’s just part of his old fashioned, hard hitting style of game.
I make too much money at my day job to be an analyst/work in hockey - but thank you very much. A hockey team would be very lucky to have me in their front office... but I’m good.
I disagree. I thinm that crosses the line. what he did goes beyond fisticuffs
That’s bc caps depth players been healthy. When ovechkin, Kuznetsov, Oshie, and Carlson are the guys getting hurt or being out - yes - it’s a little different than Garnet Hathaway being hurt.
Caps also have a new coach with shortest training camp in past 25 years - and in a whole mew system they’re still learning are still in first place.
It didn’t. Way to miss the point. When did anything like this happen?
