That's his 2nd suspension this season right?
Hopefully they get longer and longer.
Looked accidental. I can't believe he got suspended.
How does one "accidentally" spear a player of another team from the bench? Please explain the mental gymnastics required to make this call? I'm genuinely curious.Looked accidental. I can't believe he got suspended.
Are you seriously arguing that was an attempt to injure?Sean Avery mentality with Marchand/Matt Cooke penchant for injuring. TBH I think he's a bit of a psycho. He goes out to injure guys more than he "tries to get under their skin".
He is great, great at playing hockey, very high hockey IQ and great at agitating players and drawing penalties, great at drawing salt from the keyboard warriors on HF. He has a certain amount of dirt, but he's no Matt Cooke or Avery as others have tried to insinuate. He's been suspended but he's not dirty.
He slew foots but he's not dirty.
He hits players not eligible to be hit by him (they or he is on the bench) but he's not dirty.
He'd be great if he stopped with the garbage.
Are you f***ing kidding me? 3 suspensions in less than half a season and 2 of the 3 were only 1 game... God, I wish I could be an absolute disaster at my job and keep it like these morons in DoPS.Apologies if already posted but this is his third suspension in his last 36 regular season games.
Avery was a knucklehead but not dirty. He is very much like Avery.Avery also had some game.He is great, great at playing hockey, very high hockey IQ and great at agitating players and drawing penalties, great at drawing salt from the keyboard warriors on HF. Oh yes, the spear that happened during play. That is EXACTLY the same as spearing someone from your own bench in a scrum. What did you think of Drai's spear on Tierney?
Thought so.
he's clearly going to learn from this one game suspension. lady byng next season.Apologies if already posted but this is his third suspension in his last 36 regular season games.
Referees choose to ignore many penalties - has nothing to do with how Tkachuk reacted.Saw the full play.
That is a huge charging penalty by Martin.
He skates like 10 strides.
No this was not an intent to injure. This was just another example though of how he can't help himself. My use of intent to injure includes plays like Davidson and Marincin. Guy isn't even 2 seasons in, has hurt 2 guys, been suspended 3 times (not to mention he didn't get suspended for Davidson or Marincin). Are you seriously arguing that was an attempt to injure?
How did that turn out?I don't think he will be called to the office for this.
Ah, Oilers fan. I get it. The fictional slewfoots because people don't understand what a slewfoot actually is. He didn't get suspended for Marincin or Davidson because those were not slewfoots, that will not change no matter how many Oiler tears are shed over it. Perhaps it's time to stop crying about it and move on.No this was not an intent to injure. This was just another example though of how he can't help himself.
