Tkachuk intentionally using his stick as a weapon on a player's face/head? Where have I seen this before? Oh yeh the last time he clubbed Klingberg in the head and got a slap on the wrist for it. Are we really surprised he's still doing this?

he still had a good goal taken away though.. we can agree on that 😜
You mean after he "accidentally" elbowed Quick in the head?

So many accidents from one person. Must be a goof to be that unbalanced and unreliable where he's a danger to so many people around him.

theres no way the player was behind him, to say that he was trying to hit him in the face is stupid LOL

Did you watch that game? Did you know Gaudreau got sticked in the face earlier in the game and Flames were looking to even up the score. Did you notice that the puck is no where close to where Tkachuk flails his stick. Did you see that the NHL reviewed this and gave punishment over and above just a regular high sticking penalty to which he did get?

What a dumb take to say he wasn't trying to do exactly what he was trying to do.

Not a good play by Tkachuck. Better than the referee with the blatant homerism though.

A blatant attempt to injure with serious implications if it was any worse than it was is better than a borderline call? Lol

He's a really good player ... but he's also a dirty player. Just part of the package with him.

If you're surprised by this then you've never seen Tkachuk play. This type of stuff is regular for him.

Good thing the Flames are going to suck even worse for the next 10 years, Huberdough is trying though lol.

That's not the issue here, the issue is that he's standing behind a goalie and the extremely slim window that a player could intentionally do that.

I think Tkachuk was trying to wave his stick in Quick's face and tap him in the mask to screw with him, because he's an agitator asshole. I don't think he intentionally rotated his stick to get into Quick's mask and spear him in the eye.
This justification almost as entertaining as the play itself.

This is a pass over year for the Panthers. Might wanna check their cap structure.

Yeah their cap structure is horrible because they're paying a crappy goalie $10 million a year and their defense/depth is terrible without any really positive signs going forward.
