High ankle sprain? I mean that’s no picnic but was expecting worse.
Yep. And rosehill's rant sums up how a lot of people feel

I can't effing believe they had to "talk about it" afterwards. This is insane.Believe it when I see it. But if that moment actually leads to a fundamental change in attitude on the ice it’ll have been worth it.
But ya, empty words. Go out and skate through the wall for the game and your teammates for 4 months, then I’ll believe it.
Great player, shitty timid captain. We have quite possibly the most pathetic captain in the league.
My favorite part was when Paul Bissonette tried to explain physicsHe puts his stick in the skates of Liljegren on purpose.
Anyone who doesn't see that is obvious.

The whole idea is if your teammate gets wasted like that, stick up for him immediately. Figure out later if it was "legal" or not.So, let me get his thought process straight.
He thought it was an unfortunate accident.
He had to watch it multiple times to know it looked worse than he initially thought.
He expects Leafs players to know right away without replays, what took him multiple times to watch immediately.
That makes perfect sense.
Agree with the rest, but the initial reaction is just plain stupid.

How can anyone come into this forum as a Leaf fan and defend what Marchand did? wtf is the matter with you cucks?

So high ankle sprain, what, 6 weeks-ish?
I think you identify the problem with TOR in your emotional criticism of Marchand.I remember not being able to play the puck or brace myself when somebody is using their stick to lift my skate in the air and throw me off balance as I'm approaching the boards. It makes both options impossible. Liljegren is in this predicament because Marchand is a dirty rat that tried to injure him, not because of anything he did.
Sheldon Keefe says he “hated everything” about his team’s response to Brad Marchand taking out Timothy Liljegren.
Keefe: “It’s not what we want to be about. At times we’ve responded very well in those situations in the past. It’s about consistency though.”
This bothers me, like Keefe is just some passive observer in the whole thing. Did he even put Reaves out against Marchand once??? He can't tell the team to respond like coaches always do? I hate everything about his response.
That can linger for a long time, hopefully he's a good healer. So high ankle sprain, what, 6 weeks-ish?
When did we get Jon Lajoie? Love that guy.
Winning the hockey game? This goes beyond winning a game or two. I would forfeit many games for the proper response. I bet you would feel different if it was AM getting taken out. Seems the league has let some rottenness seep into the game. Makar, Hughes others. Can't have your stars being cheapshotted. Bush league as Mario called it. Once we lost to the Habs and Blue Jackets it was firmly written on the wall that this team wasn't going to win with this groupThey are still trying to win hockey games... and what would Reaves do besides probably take a dumb penalty or get scored on?
Well then that didnt go well eitherThey are still trying to win hockey games... and what would Reaves do besides probably take a dumb penalty or get scored on?
