so you think in the 30 second delay (probably less), they were all frantically trying to view the play to see if it was intentional and then were going to retaliate? They probably were worried about not getting scored on.

I think you can assume ill intent, but like I said... what is the retaliation? I'd be more concerned if they watched the play in the dressing room and did. nothing... at the time I am sure they thought it was innocent.

Winning the hockey game? This goes beyond winning a game or two. I would forfeit many games for the proper response. I bet you would feel different if it was AM getting taken out. Seems the league has let some rottenness seep into the game. Makar, Hughes others. Can't have your stars being cheapshotted. Bush league as Mario called it. Once we lost to the Habs and Blue Jackets it was firmly written on the wall that this team wasn't going to win with this group

To jump players? No one is fighting Reaves, maybe if Lucic was there. Reaves fights on average like 4 times a year, there is a reason for that.

I think there should have been a response, target Marchand maybe, take runs, and if you see the replay in the locker room, maybe a little further.

I actually liked some of Treliving's moves and was optimistic going into the season, but they have all underperformed.

He fed him 0 punches, and that was 10 years ago... Martin did it to someone 5 years ago too.

It rarely ever happens.

And in both instances, it amounted to absolutely nothing, the player who got jumped took no damage.

I just think if Reaves jumps him, he turtles, we get a bunch of penalties and Marchand laughs.. not sure that is a win.
