Remember Rielly's return last season after the same injury? Took him a long time to get back, and TL's looked to be a really bad one...still bugs me nobody went after Marchand.

I was watching the Kraken broadcast last night and the commentators mentioned numerous times that Liljegren was playing very well. I think they brought it up at least 3 times in the third period alone. Maybe Keefe can stop publicly shaming him now.

Keefe loves to be a tough guy who goes after secondary/support players but you'll never catch him going hard on the core lol. Saves all his vitriol for players like Liljegren, Robertson, Domi, Kampf etc

You could immediately see da improvement in Lily getting away from Gio .. Gio and Brodie are both washed folks and have been all season long .. surprising it took so long for Keefer to figure that one out .. but Lily and McCabe are not gonna be able top 4 minutes in playoffs you read it here 1st .. we need at least 2 more top 4 D to have any chance at all

Lilijgren just needs to be played by Keefe 21-22 mins a night

Enough of this slow cooking bullshit

He either can become a #2/3D 35-40 pt player who plays great vs quality and tough matchups or he stinks and we just use him as trade bait or a bottom pairing d-man.

Keefe has been so shit at developing young players.

Lilijgren, Sandin, Robertson, Knies, Dermott, Engvall etc all have struggled to become more than bottom/depth players under him

He’s been horrible at this he’s had the luxury of superstar players bringing themselves along he’s had no hand in developing the rookies

Timmy is falling into the same trap that other young d men have here. This organization can't develop defencemen if it hit them in the face. He's been fine. Keefe doesn't help matters by playing him with a 40 year old Gio. If we need to see his true potential, we need to start with a new coach.
At the same time, Liljegren is a Hunter draft pick and his pick history is pretty bad.

We do suck for 70 years developing D men .. it is a cultural thing and it continues to manifest in league too .. i am really surprised Rielly figured it out although last night was not his shining light .. but no pro team makes playoff runs with 1 top 4 D and Benoit who may be playing over his head right now

I'd like to see him skate with the puck more and get more shots on net. He's got a great shot, especially one-timer. I'd really like to see him get more PP time to help build his confidence.

It's like he's been developed as a stay at home, defensive defenseman- the opposite of his instincts and style of play that made him a coveted choice to begin with. He has managed to learn decent positioning and gap control, which has led to him rounding out his game- but he has always been an offensive defenseman. He isn't strong along the boards or in front of the net, and he has no nastiness to his game at all. This is one area that he needs to improve.

I don't think we've been using him correctly at all. He needs to be partnered up with a rugged, stay at home defenseman.

I cringe at the trade talk involving Lily. I'm not close to giving up on him yet.

Well he did call out the star players once but had to apologize for it the next day

The boomers are already turning on this kid. Hasn't been the same since coming off his high ankle sprain and Keefe never does him any favours so now they want to trade him anywhere for anything and bring in the meat heads.

Gotta be a bit worried for how quickly they are gonna turn on Woll if he isnt 100% from his high ankle:help:
