And he thinks Brendan Gallagher is better than William Nylander.

He just stops talking all a sudden in the end. This slow start has hurt Noodles really badly.
I love how he says they played well against the Leafs. I'm like yeah for 7 mins before the Leafs woke up and were the way better team after.

To you 2nd question about the coach

To your first question about the analyst

To your third question. Could be Leafs are a joke in developing d man?
So answered all your questions. This didn't go as well as you thought it would.

So your saying Keefe doesn't have a high understanding of hockey. Thats pretty bad that you are accusing him.

Ok perfect now go and look at what Keefe thinks of Holl in comparison. Or what analysts say after Holl shuts down McDavid or Draistl or other top players in the league over the last 2 seasons vs 1 game with 14 minutes from Liljegren where the coach proceeded to take him out of the lineup.

its Keefe’s job to know how to motivate players. The last thing Keefe is going to do is blast Liljegren in the media. He is going to hype him up and even boost his performance to help build the confidence of a player they are hoping to elevate. Coaching 101. I’m not saying Keefe doesn’t believe everything he said about Liljegren but I also don’t think he’d go out of his way to point out his warts to the media. That doesn’t help.

But the other poster has a point. If you ask legitimate people in hockey, no one is really high on Liljegren.

To be fair Habs loss of Price, Weber and Edmunston is too much for any team to deal with .. this was determined in summer to be a write off year for Habs once Price said he needed year off to deal with mental and physical health issues and Weber said he needed some time to recover from his back, knee and foot issues

Does it really matter though? People in the NHL circle make terrible evaluations and decisions about players on a daily basis. Liljegren has been a top 5 AHL player for 2 years and has provided extremely good defensive results in the NHL with the exception of his first call-up.

Don't see him on the AHL All-Star Teams of the last two seasons ;-)

When you look into his PK numbers even taking into account his first stint, they are really strong in limited mins.
These are among Leafs d man with at least 10 mins of TOI. Total 9 d man

TOI: 10:58
CA/60: 65.65(1st)
SCA/60: 43.77(4th)
HDCA: 10.94(1st)
xGA/60: 2.93(1st)

He deserves a long look, the kid looked like he can develop into something big.

But knowing this organizing(Keefe) Holl will be back in next game.

He’s easily earned mondays game. If he’s solid enough, I’d give him one or both of Boston and tampa

Showing signs of why he was a consensus top-2 pick entering his draft year, where everything that could go wrong for him....did go wrong. His development was further stunted by team hopping and the lack of playing time (mono, injuries) over a 2+ year period.

Looks like he is starting to make up for some of that lost time.

Maybe. Or another ex leaf swede. Stralman.
He’s very cerebral. His positioning is fantastic.

Not too sure how Brodie was at this stage in his career but I wouldn’t be shocked if Tim is a better skater with a better outlet pass at this point.
