We have many awesome defensemen.

We have no awesome defencemen. That tally is at zero. We have 4 quality defencemen and then some guys trying to find their way. An awesome defenceman would have done something to ensure that we beat Montreal in game 5, 6 or 7 because that's what awesome defencemen do. We have 4 quality defencemen, we have 2 guys who can play the bottom pair and move up in a pinch if there's an injury, and then we have Liljegren who is going to sit there in the stands until he's upgraded at the deadline. Next year some team interested in tanking will pluck him off waivers to further their agenda, and we can be done with this absurdity.
