Mushroom in a burger eh? Never heard of such a topping in a burger.

I personally just put cheese, a slice of tomato and pickles when i do a burger at home. Call me traditional i guess

what is this mushroom IN a burger?..... it's ON a burger..... under melted cheese only ....

i got my chops from this.....now i am grill good

health department might shut me down for actually walking on the food nowadays, but it was different back in '82

I found a box with one of my old NES and a bunch of games and controllers one day. That of course sent me on a path of trying to find and buy the missing games that reminded me of my childhood. I refused to buy anything online so that forced me to go flea markets and go hunting. It was actually quite fun to get out with the wife and kids and Burger Time was one of the hardest to find for some reason.

I had meeting with my boss and my boss's boss today at 4:30....it was supposed to be for an hour but only lasted 10 minutes...

Pretty funny stuff ..

Big boss goes "how you holding up Jim"

I said "ok"

Some small talk about nothing ensued...

Then he started into how we are here to help in anyway possible and that there maybe some opportunities....he starts talking about open positions...

I stop him in mid sentence and said "that would really cut into my fishing time. I just need to know where and when to return my laptop"

He goes you're not interested in other position?

I honestly said...I don't think work is for me"

And that was pretty much it 😂

That's strange. What did they offer you? Was it essentially the same type of job with less pay or something? The whole way this went down smells fishy to me.

They do it whenever anyone is axed.

They show them all the resources available and the current jobs available within the company to "assist them in the next phase of their career".

I have seen it before being on the other side of it. It's a dog and pony show so they can say that they kept with the credo mission.

I will say they do take that Credo shit pretty seriously.

Sounds like a cover up suggested by their attorney.

Ya, that sounds like nonsense. They only want to do enough that you won't take it out on them.

Whatever, it sounds like you have your next steps planned out already and they don't involve an office. So they can go pound sand.

@JimEIV wait you worked for JNJ? I work in healthcare and I have to talk to people at JNJ all the time.
Yep almost 23 years :). Corporate Finance Applications for 18 years ...A short stint with Legal and the last 3 years I have been working with a ServiceNow Development team in Raritan. The first 18 years was the good part when I had my own office in corporate Headquarters in New Brunswick and worked with a spectacular group of people.... It's been going down hill for me ever since 2018....most of my former team is retired...sort of glad it's over for me too now.

But in the beginning...like the first 10 or so years J&J Headquarters was amazing. Barbershop, Dry cleaning, car service and detailing, message service, banking all on premise...carving station in the cafeteria every day by men with chef hats 😂. That place was something in the early 2000's we also had to wear jacket and tie every day... slowly everything changed, dress code dropped and each perk slowly went away. Progress I suppose :dunno:

Ah, then yeah our paths would not have crossed, I work on the cybersecurity side of things so I'm usually dealing with product managers and infosec people.

Hockey fans in Germany.

What the NHL lacks is an atmosphere. I watched a lot of different hockey, and some fans in Germany, in Russia, in Finland and in Sweden create a lot of noise and good mood.

My brother is visiting me from Boston, and picked up my order at Treehouse for me on the way down. Life is better with a case of Treehouses in the fridge. :)

That's because they also like soccer. College hockey here has some atmosphere that's more chants and fans oriented.

That`s not about soccer culture, that`s about sports fan culture. A lot of people hate soccer but very loud. Like me too. Calm sitting and eating of hot dog is for cinema visit.

I think it's related though, they are more use to it because of soccer culture. Over here you will have people yelling at ya to sit down if you stand for a few seconds too long lol

I`m tellin what I know. Big part ockey fans are separate from soccer culture. Fans often loud on the different sports. I was junior basketball athlet and our fans were loud, as volleyball too. Soccer fans are loud bacuse sport fan culture is about scream, passion etc. I even think fans from junior sports events are passion too in NA.
I would say, sometimes it could be more agressive culture, but no one will yell at you, if you will stand in the moment of dissapointment. Just don`t troll your opponents) you never know what kind of people is stand ahead of you
At many games there are drummers who give out the rhythm, and sometimes trumpeters. On SKA games(as I see it`s a thing on many arenas) everybody got a paper ratchet to repeat the rythm.

I went back to the pub at 4:00pm today.
Sitting and talking didn't even order a drink and the owner starts complaining about the bartender...the bartender defends himself and says come on we were busy and the guy only waited a few minutes.

I said can I help? And asked the owner if I could get behind the bar for a little. He said no you've been drinking...I said no I haven't I just got here and haven't had anything.. He goes ya sure whatever you want. He thought I was kidding around.... I tended bar from 4 to about 6:30 and had a blast. Actually, I really just helped the real bartender and did pretty much whatever he asked me do. But at 5:30 Smoke on the Water came on and I started singing as loud as I could. The bartender joined me on the chorus and then the whole place joined us the next 3 times for the chorus....it was freaking awesome.
