I can accept that. There are some days that you would think I'm a 30 handicap though. It just kinda comes and goes.
I know zero about golf but know a lot about archery...when it comes and goes in archery it's always form issues... usually an inconsistency with one or more elements of the shot.
We alleviate some of those inconsistencies by breaking down each motion into a "shot sequence"...grip, draw, anchor, transfer/back tension, aim, release, follow through, conclusion.... Then practicing individual elements without a target. So when under pressure or in tournament conditions your only concern is hitting each element in rhythm like a choreographed dance. It does wonders for eliminating/reducing tournament stress and improving consistency.
It also improves the efficiency of your practice time... because during practice you're not just willy-nilly shooting arrows, your working on specific elements and timing.
I am told there are a lot of similarities in golf?
