Not necessarily the best version I’ve heard but a song that always works on piano. I thought Ben Folds had done it at one point but I can’t find the video.Hell, if you're gonna go all piano, you gotta include some Ben Folds Five.
Brutal weather last night, 55 degrees and 25 mph winds. Managed to get 2 nothing big, but a14'' Brown is enough to keep me happy....see what happens tonight.
It's really tough to cast in heavy wind. But there are some techniques to make it possible. Keeping your cast low, position yourself so the wind is your back and double hauling to increase the line speed to cut the wind all help but it still sucks casting in the wind. Today we had gust over 30mph. Insulated jackets and beanies are strange for the middle of June.It was low 90s here today. Mid 50s sounds like a nice break even with the wind. I imagine you can’t cast with that much wind.
After a good 20 year hiatus I've recently gotten back into kid's cereals.
I try to avoid anything with artificial colors or odd preservatives, so that keeps a couple old faves like Apple Jacks off the list, but there are still plenty of good options. Coco Puffs, Golden Grahams, combining those too is pretty good. Tonight is Golden Crisps. I don't really eat it in the morning.
Cap'n Crunch was def good, but with Crunch Berries it was an all timer.cap'n crunch and muthaf***ing cinnamon toast crunch! (not at same time)
*milk and bowl must be in freezer minimum 20 minutes before pouring cereal, preferably 30
I would have loved the only crunch berries cereal when I ate that sort of thing. It doesn’t taste the same to me now that I’m old.Cap'n Crunch was def good, but with Crunch Berries it was an all timer.
Unfortunately given the artificial colorants it's off the list.
Was never much of a cinnamon toast crunch guy.

I oddly love Cracklin Oat Bran and 'Oh's, lolAfter a good 20 year hiatus I've recently gotten back into kid's cereals.

I was similar a couple years back in terms of drinking nearly every day. Unfortuneately I was getting drunk more often then I should as well.I want to ask you guys something. I don't know why I fee comfortable posting here. I don't post often but I read several times a day since I joined.
I don't know if I have an issue but it is something that bothers. I probably drink 7 days a week. Once in a while it is 6 days. I am not talking a lot, I can't do beers anymore, I am probably talking 3 glasses of wine or 2 vodka clubs, or a little whiskey, or even a couple white claws if I am doing some work outside. I probably get well intoxicated once every 3 weeks.
I haven't worked out in a while, something that used to be more of a passion. Every AM I say to myself I am going to work out tonight, get back in the swing of things. Then by the end of the work day, all I want to do is have an adult beverage. I hate that I crave it, but I do. I am tired and don't have the motivation to work out anymore (I work in construction management and I start at 630 and don't get home until 615, if any of you are in construction, you know how stressful it is with material pricing and lead times) Have dinner with the wife and kid and just relax after.
I feel like I am stuck in a rut. I keep pushing back the 'getting into the gym, eating healthier and stop drinking'. I don't like how I crave alcohol after a work day, and feel like I might have an issue. Any advice to get out of this rut? Its tough after work when my motivation is zero, and working out before work is tough because I have to bring my daughter to her grandparents on the way into work and any earlier would be tough on her, its tough as it is.

I was never a work out guy, but I did skate a fair amount during this stretch, so I was fairly active.
I have been able to scale back, I don't drink every day, and get drunk a lot less often then I did (though probably still too often), and now in addition to getting a few skates in, I'm also getting to the gym a couple times a week.
So I think I can relate in that, I needed to cut back, but really didn't want to stop drinking entirely. But not cutting it off completely does make it too easy to stay in that rut.
My recommendation would be to draw some sort of line. Whether it be no drinking for a month, or even a week. Or demanding yourself to get to the gym at least 2 times a week, and not drinking on those days. But make it a hard line.
I also had some success by, instead of coming home and cracking a beer(I'm a beer guy) I'd make that "first" drink when I got home an ice water(or whatever non alcoholic drink you want). Part of it was just habitual. Get home from work, and crack that beer, which would often lead to a 2nd beer. But once I drank that water, the pattern was broken and I wasn't really looking for a beer after that. Do that on your workout days perhaps.
Shit, sounds like the iron is slightly warm, might as well start today. Get a work out in to boot.Thats actually solid advice. I am going to give that a try. Thanks
I stopped eating kids' cereals years ago. One of the last times I did, I bought Cinnamon Toast Crunch because it was on sale at CVS and ate a couple of bowls. It was so sugary it made me feel slightly ill. I also got Oreo-O's when it was back on the shelves for old time's sake. It was good, but just not worth it.After a good 20 year hiatus I've recently gotten back into kid's cereals.

Oh yeah, I'm def eating 3 servings worth at a clip.I stopped eating kids' cereals years ago. That was before I met my wife, too. She's diabetic and one of the first things she learned after her diagnosis was to not keep any cereal- kids' or not- around the house. The serving sizes are small and very caloric, and it's easy to eat three or more servings without giving it a second thought. My mother-in-law and kid brother-in-law stayed with us for over a month and as soon as they left, the wife threw out the box of Cookie Crisps to avoid temptation.
I gained five pounds from reading that last sentence.Oh yeah, I'm def eating 3 servings worth at a clip.
And I do wish the chocolatey cereal's like coco puffs, or cookie crisp were more chocolate then sugar, but just the same I've been liking them as a late night desert.
Last night I had frozen pizza, a big salad and cereal. In that order. Pretty funny.
Lots of salads and low carbs and limit snacks. Give yourself something to look forward to every few months. A nice dinner at a favorite restaurant where you eat what you want and have dessert. Then back to salad. I typically have one real meal and one salad meal daily. I try to limit snacks. If you can exercise it will all be a little easier.I gained five pounds from reading that last sentence.
My wife and I are doing calorie counting and food weighing together- I need to fit into my wedding suit (the size 32 pants are a tight fit) and she needs to shed some pounds for her next lung function test, since there wasn’t anything wrong with them last time like fibrosis or the like. I don’t even want to go back to the junk eating life.
