Say what you will. They were trendsetters and influential. My guess is this is interesting but I’m not sure how exciting the story really was absent the tragedy of Sid and Nancy.

oh for sure, no doubt about that....i have bullocks on LP and rock n roll swindle on cassette (yep)... i was commenting on how cheesy the trailer looked

Yes, I don't think my recipe is totally authentic, but I do make a pretty good mole poblano from scratch. It takes an hour and a half to make and has 25 ingredients.

Definitely a weekend recipe.

Made the mole poblano tonight for cheese enchiladas. It came out pretty good.

My wife says she prefers my queso blanco or red enchilada sauces though. Those are easier to make, so if she likes them better, that's what I'm going to make.

I'm listening to the new Kendrick Lamar again. It's not much for beats, but it's the best storytelling album since Good Kid, and his most personal album ever. I get the feeling this will be his most hotly debated album for years to come. I personally love it and hope he finally gets his Best Album Grammy.

somewhere something somehow ... volume A +1 ...

If Barrett doesn’t have something akin to a worsening of underlying schizophrenic tendencies (based on interviews of his contemporaries) we never get that run of Dark Side of the Moon all the way to The Final Cut and even on to A Momentary Lapse of Reason. It’s a shame he wasn’t given help to overcome his problems and he had to retreat from society to cope.

Im coming to the states to work for a bit in NYC during the upcoming season. Was wondering if there's a Devils fan community that goes to games together? For example, in Europe fans meet at a local bar close to the arena before and after the game. Is there anything similar going for with the Devils on regular basis?

Thinking about cutting the cord with cable in the fall since I have so many streaming services…how do the cord cutters legally watch the devils. Thanks in advance, gents!

I'm an out of town fan, so ESPN+ has most of the Devils games for me. Only when they play the Rangers or Bruins or the game is on NHL Network, am I blacked out.

For people in NJ though, Fubo TV is a pretty good cable replacement that carries MSG and other live channels. It's more expensive than it used to be, but it's one of the best options I've seen. My father in law uses it to watch Rangers games. Hulu with Live TV is more expensive, and so is Sling, but those are other options.

I watched the Devil's for a little while this season on Fubo. They carry MSG. It was ok.

When I found out Comcast dropped MSG, I cancelled after 22 years.

Got Fios wasn't happy at all. Got rid of FiOS but kept their Internet. FiOS was about 30% more expensive than Xfinity for the same channel lineup and number of rooms... But that's not why I got rid of it... I also had a lot of performance issues. Service was out more times in the few months I had it than I had in years with Comcast. More expensive and less reliable? No thanks.

Watched the playoffs on Hulu though. Not sure what I am going to do next. Pretty unhappy with the entire situation.

Besides getting the detail right on these tiny flies not crowding the eye is even more challenging.

Holy shit , there is no way I’m hell I could work on something that small and with that much precision and detail.
I don’t know what I have for sure , if it’s ADD or ADHT or what the F it’s called but no way I could have enough patience sitting in one spot and do precision work like that .

I have to look into some options regarding tv . All I watch anymore is hockey . What sucks is that I have to subscribe to a basic package of channels then pay a premium to get the sports channels in order to even be able to subscribe to NHL CentreIce … how is that even legal. It’s bullshit. Why can’t a person just be able to subscribe to CentreIce and that’s it?
There has to be a way around it to watch on my TV. Probably through PS5 or smart TV somehow ?

It's not that bad. That fly probably took me 5 or 6 minutes to tie. The problem is bulk. On bigger flies you can get away with using a little bit too much material but with smaller stuff you'll be be out of room with any small overage. You almost have to count each individual thread wrap to make sure your proportions are good...and truth be told that's not even that small or that precise. That's a size #20 hook

Hook sizes go in 2 increments. The bigger the number the smaller the hook...most of my flies are tied on 12, 14 and 16 occasionally 18"s...but for a certain bug called "Blue Wing Olives" I tie 20's and 22's...that picture is a size 20 BWO. But I've seen size #32 hooks and they really look like a spec.

I have really been pissed about my options. I still haven't figured it out. I also pretty much only watch hockey these days, the Outdoor Network and Sportsmen channel too...but I can watch YouTube on my TV and for the last year I have paying for premium. I watch a lot of fly fishing stuff on YouTube...one show a Canadian based fly fishing show called The New Flyfisher is great and they put all their episodes on YouTube.

Here is one :)

Sunday bunch drink:

16 oz glass, 1 package of Emergen-C Super Orange, 2 ounces of vodka. Mix until Emergen-C is dissolved, fill glass with ice, add club soda and twist of lime.

Good stuff
