I forgot all about this, but I did wind up looking him up after I started seeing that commercial and I found a couple articles from the local papers about him.

Hopefully he's still doing well. I gained a ton of weight over the pandemic, but not really for pandemic reasons, but depressed about all kinds of bullshit. I'm talking like 60-ish pounds and about 35-40 were just between about March and October of 2021. Food is just how I medicate. That's my only drug.

I started losing it in the middle of October, the week that the NHL season started. I'm happy to be down 45 pounds. Still can't fit in my size medium T-shirts yet, but I've been back in a size 34 for about 1.5 months (they were tight up until about 2-3 weeks ago) and I finally got under 200 pounds about 3 weeks ago.

Hang in there. That’s great work. Few carbs lots of salads with vinegar based dessing limited snacks except for vegetables and exercise as many days as you can. You will know you have hit he weigh your body wants to be at when you stop losing anything after two weeks or so. I had to lose about 40 pounds and I am stuck on 35. That last five are just not going away. I can get about three of them off at times but one decent dinner and I’m right back to needing to lose all five.

Thanks! I figure I got about 15-20 pounds more to go. I look fine now, but I still can't fit in my size medium T-shirts (still have too much belly fat for them) and I have a ton of them. A lot of them are from 2019, the year before I started outgrowing them.

I do walk about 4.5 miles a night. I do about 3-ish around 7:00-8:00 PM (gotta start around 6:00 on Devils game nights) and then I finish the last 1.5 around 9:30-10:00.

I really don't like doing it when it's still light out cause people bother me while I'm walking (I can get into a whole rant about people bugging me while I'm walking that will really make me sound like a mean, nasty guy) and it's too hot, but with the sun going down at 7:30 now and not 6:30 and I really don't wanna start at 8:30 at night, I'm probably gonna have to do some of it while it's still a bit light out.

I also probably walk a few miles while working during the day, just being on my feet walking around. Not actual walking, but it's fun to look at your health app if you keep your phone in your pocket all day and see how many miles it says you walked while working, despite not really leaving a 500 foot radius.

I bounced around a little but not quite like this. The first pandemic summer I managed to lose 15 lbs, but then gained a bunch back that winter. Similar pattern last year. Right now I'm around 5-8 lbs under where I started in March 2020, depending on the day. Better than gaining it all back I guess, but I wish I had been able to maintain the lower weight.

Very hard when a baby takes up so much of your time though. Some days I intend to work out and it just doesn't happen.

some soccer mom with a dodge caravan backed out of a driveway and into my parked truck on friday as i was loading out my tools on the last day at a reno...f***ed the drivers side behind the back wheel but in front of tail light ..going for estimate tomorrow

long story short..... i was pissed off to high hell. first thing out of my mouth was "are you f***ing kidding me?.... well, youre f***ing paying for this one way or another"

an '07 mazda b2300 with 122,000km/76,000 mi and zero rust.... f***ing immaculate

turns out her husband is actually an autobody shop guy for a living.

he shows up ...says it's nothing and wants to go under the truck and pound the thing out with his fist but its more than that. there's bent beyond fisting metal and well that paint is done. he's trying hard to get out of a headache

'ya, im gonna need the drivers licence and insurance form you'

put in the claim on them.

their insurance is going up while mine will not....but i get to waste my time getting it fixed

she can eat the error.

Had my Amazon package stolen from my porch today. It's fine I used a gift card so not that upset. But I called support about it and it was so easy, they already have a replacement order for one of the items and gave credit for the other.

I almost feel bad, like I'm second guessing myself lol. Did I actually get it and have very short-term memory loss? Maybe I'll check my mailbox for the 3rd time to see if they shrunk the box somehow.

If only the delivery person rang my doorbell

Lmao so someone that lives in another unit in my house took it by accident. I knew this would happen... now I have to call to cancel the refund like a fool.

This happened to me a few times and I've never done that. I wouldn't worry about it.

Something like this has happened to me also. My wife once ordered a new router off Amazon when we were moving from our apartment to our house. She set it to be delivered to our apartment, and then changed her default delivery address to our new house address.

She got the notification that it was delivered to our apartment, but it wasn't in our mailbox or anywhere near where we'd expect it to be delivered. So she called their customer service line the next day and they told her they'd send another. A few days later we received the package with the replacement router, and were pleased they had taken care of it so quickly.

But then a few days after that, we received another router at the apartment. It seemed that somehow the original order was delayed and it got delivered after we requested the replacement. My wife called them back and told them what happened, they said not to worry about it, and we figured that was the end of it.

Except it wasn't, because the next day, we received a third router. And when we arrived at our house to move in the following week, what was waiting for us on the front steps? Yet another goddam router!

I have no idea why they sent us so many, but we only got charged for one so we didn't care. We ended up using one, giving away two to friends, and I think the fourth one is still in its box and gathering dust in my basement somewhere. Ridiculous.
