Oilers media want Hyman for their team.
Hyman will not leave the Leafs lol he will fit his cap in like a good soldier.

Agreed, he loves it here.. he will pull a Spezza if need be.
If you cut him he would literally bleed blue and white lol
UndefinedThey scored 200% more tonight than the first 2. Or would it still just be 100?
i will be brutally honestThat 91-93 team was special no doubt... but I think we have something much more special on our hands with this current team, IF they can keep playing like this... deep we go!
i will be brutally honest
i'm not convinced if this is something more then 91/93 ,till they prove different i see this team like the caps from a bunch of years back ,,
the game changes come PO time , the whistles get put away,,the game gets nasty/heavy
frankly, i don't see enough nasty or heavy
i hope i am dead wrong and to have to choke on the crow
Yeah it’s pretty solid top to bottom right now. We are fortunateThis is a pretty special time to be a Maple Leaf fan.

You aren’t dead wrong. It’s a legitimate concern. We need more grit still. Maybe it’s already there when Simmonds gets back. That said, who will replace him if he were to go down again. Dubas/Keefe and Shanny probably see opportunity the way its going and will want to improve. There might be a move in trade that not everyone is happy about because it gives up some future. One future at a time for me is fine. Win the cup is the one i choosei will be brutally honest

you sound like you are completely missing the point ,,this is not about 1 or 2 players
it's about a team attitude and right now,,i still see 3 ply charmin soft
Our forwards also arent cheating nearly as much and are actually giving appropriate support when breaking out of the zone.
This teams backpressure and puck support has drastically improved this season.
Who says the team doesn't adapt like they have so far? Simmons, Bogo and Muzzin are enough aren't they? Thornton and a couple others may surprise come playoffs as well.
Would this team as it is now have beaten the Bruins last time they met in the playoffs when up 3-2?
I think so.
This current team has confidence and a really adaptive and analytical coach. They may not drop the gloves every opportunity or out hit teams but I don't think they will needtoo this year at least.
However I do think they will aquire another gamer or 2 at or before the deadline.
Just they don't do something that will ruin the chemistry they have building now.
missed this. Is there a clip of it anywhere?
Hyman is the best case scenario for Khaira. His overall game’s downplayed because of the role he plays on his lines. I don’t think Khaira can maintain offensive zone puck possession and I certainly don’t think he has the skating chops either. It takes hockey IQ to be able to play all through the lineup and roles that Khaira may not have. They have Khaira. That guy should be glued to McDavids wing and keep trying different players on the right wing until they get a fit. Khaira is being misused. Great player. Works hard just like hyman and needs a promotion. They will figure it out that their first line is Khaira/McDavid/Yamamoto eventually.
Why the coaching staff can’t figure that out is strange to me. Anyways Khaira is misused there
In the toughness argument being the reason why we lost, what gets lost is the fact that the Leafs team heavily relied on a handful of players to contribute to winning night in and night out. The team has a distinct play style and is not only 4 lines strong but also 3 pair strong too. This is a far cry from the 4th lines we were seeing before and the inability to move the puck from the right side defence. Personally, I think our fortunes have changed so much where I’d like to see the left side defence step their games up.Who says the team doesn't adapt like they have so far? Simmons, Bogo and Muzzin are enough aren't they? Thornton and a couple others may surprise come playoffs as well.

Nobody said they couldn’t sign matthews, marner and Nylander. People said they couldn’t sign those 3 with Tavares and be a balanced team.Remember when everyone in the main boards said we wouldn’t be able to sign Matthews, Marner and Nylander? lol not only did we sign them but we even had room for Tavares and additional improvements across the roster such as picking up Brodie, Muzzin, Thornton, Simmonds, Spezza, Bogosian and Campbell.
Credit to Dubas and his cap management genius. Most well rounded team we’ve had in possibly ever, also goes to show what happens when we finally have a coach who shares the same vision as our GM.
Hope you guys beat them next
