This is a bad hockey team

playing your 4th string goalie who’s never played an NHL game right after a travel day coming from another time zone, meaning losing an hour and a half vs. having the previous game be at 7pm, and tge opposition was well rested? I give them a pass for it. Many expected this kind of game.

Now if we shit the bed again on Friday, then I’ll be a bit concerned.

Team got home at 4am, lol. Playing back to back games with travel takes a toll. Like I said in the GDT, I’m not even mad.

I think Gallant knew we were f***ed tonight. That’s why he started Huska. We need a confident Georgiev going forward and even if he played great, we still give up a bunch of goals and lose, thus, deteriorating his wet toilet paper confidence even more.

Tomorrow is in Buffalo. Home against the Preds on Sunday. Then back to back Tuesday and Wednesday against Avs and Yotes. Shitty travel.

After that we have 7 games on the east coast. 5 home and a pair in FLA, followed by a brutal 5 game road trip.

Overall — 16 game in the next 36 days. Lots of hockey. Lots of travel. Let’s see what this team is really made of.

They go 3-2 over the next 5 (3-3 including last night), but find out some important things about themselves in the process

As long as they win vs Florida, I will be happy. What did they lose......1 game at home? Lets make that 2.
Throw in a win in Tampa, and this board might wet themselves.
 
Been terrible for two full weeks now. Yes, even when we beat Tampa and Carolina, we were absolutely horrible. Absolutely not winning shit.
 
Let’s not overreact. Positive additions were made at the deadline and if they play like they did in the 1st that will cause problems to any other team.

Definitely shit to fix, but let’s not loose hope
