I don't care about winning anymore. I just want The Room to be in good shape.

I for one can't wait until they start showing the locker room on the Jumbotron so we can cheer the room and then head to the conscourse when they take the ice.

With periods running longer than intermission, this is more time for concessions to be sold. This is 4D f***in' chess move by Comcast.

The D in 4D chess, when it comes to the Flyers, stands for dumbass

Kulak has more years left on his deal than Ceci. Ceci is up after next year he’s who I’d want to take. Can retain half next deadline and get another asset

I can’t say I’m really too concerned about the extra year. He only makes 2.75, so if Shaw could work with him, he could be flipped next deadline or the one after easily. I thought it might be more attractive to Edmonton to keep their top 4 intact, and just plug Seeler and Walker in on the bottom pair.

Friedman was on Chiclets and pretty much said they priced Laughton off the market. Some old with Seeler and Walker that he’s said on his podcast.

They ain’t trading anyone.
We have come from picking up an additional 1-2 1st round picks at the TDL to hoping Briere doesn't spend too many picks on depth veterans.

My prediction is John Gibson is their target.

Gibson + Try hard plug for Brink, Panthers 1st , Zamula , Sandstrom.

The upcoming schedule is maybe the toughest we have ever seen, and this puke of a GM is going to buy. I will say it again, this could get worse than Chuckles tenure.

Friedman is the least informed guy this year aside from an ear into the Flames situation. He has little credence on anything especially with the Flyers. People on this site are more in the know regarding the Flyers than he is.
I'm getting increasingly more prepared for a bad outcome to the trade deadline like most on here, but i do think there's something to be said about how no one saw the Gauthier thing coming. Or even the Provorov trade, when it did happen, it's not like there were any reports the day of like "a Provorov trade is imminent". Jones and Briere might have the wrong ideas right now, but i'd guess that something is still cooking that none of us, or any of the insiders, would know about.

I do keep thinking about how the Flyers and the Jets have been scouting each other as frequently as they've been...

Failure and shame are great things to bring about change. This new administration would have a whole lot of it when they don’t trade anyone, add to the roster and still miss the playoffs. It would be the perfect outcome to have the fanbase turn up the heat on the management team.

Well, those guys have stopped talking about rebuilds and started speculating about buying, which almost no one else has done. Other than when Frank said earlier this year about them earning a ‘small addition’ or whatever it was.

Seravelli essentially implied yesterday they were/are pricing Walker off the market with a first rounder asking price.
What does that say that we over value not one but 3 of our guys in comparison to the rest of the NHL ? It is a god damn mess this organization.

But hey , Hilferty congratulated Kelce on his retirement, that is all that matters.

Markstrom is clearly the target. He is the better goaltender, less of a commitment, and the Flames have been clearly more amenable to making moves. Gibson’s name has been out there with two general managers seemingly not much interested in making something happen, even though he may have been wanting a move.
