Danny doesn’t run squat.

If the old boy crowd along with Jones/Torts wants to keep the crew together they aren’t going to be sellers. No matter what is offered for Walker.

Briere is powerless in the grand scheme, because the overall direction is not determined by him.
exactly...

sadly thats how this franchise runs! upon the backbones of the dinosaurs from years past.

nothing will ever change.. over 50 years of results has shown it

Wal Mart ownership.
You just compared the Flyers to one of the best ran and successful business models in the world. Glad to see your coming around.

Proper rebuilds don’t involve tearing it to the studs. They involve great head coaches, a GM with the present and future in mind and we have both. We should be fully competitive in 2 years. Need some size upfront and one skill forward that isn’t a flake like Frost. Brutal again last night. For every time he flashes skill there are three to four where he is so soft he looks like an ECHL player

That’s awesome man.

Any news on when Comcast is organizing the next alumni night? Mike Richards is coming I think, it’s all coming together.

Frost, meanwhile, had perhaps his best offensive game of 2023-24 although he only came away from the night with the one assist. It's possible that an assist could be added on the Tippett goal as Frost checked the puck off Miles Wood's stick to Brink (the official scorer ruled no touch, no takeaway and no giveaway but Wood clearly had the first possession after Hart made a save and, a moment later, the puck was claimed by Brink). Frost also made the outlet pass to Sanheim that started the eventual Farabee goal sequence. Frost had a near-goal himself after he turned Ross Colton inside out on a rush and couldn't quite finesse a shot through the five hole. The puck wound up under goalie Ivan Prosvetov's legs after squeaking through the pads.

You should take a look around the league and see how the contenders in this league got to be there, save for the Bruins, because tearing to the studs is exactly what they all did.

On Walker:

"Put himself in a great position for himself moving forward in his career. Maybe a little tougher for us contract wise"

"Trying to get out of that rut where we make the playoffs one year, we miss ... trying to build team that will be contenders for years to come, not just for one year. Plan hasn't changed"

The plan hasn't changed because it was never a rebuild.

Not saying it can’t work that way but I you wanna be Buffalo or what Chicago is going to become have at it.

We have the goaltending just need to lock up Hart. We also have a lot more solid base than most like to admit.

Been catching up on some of these recent rumors, dunno if Toronto is in on Walker/Seeler or just Risto, but if they become a viable trade partner, I wonder if they can find some way to get Easton Cowan. Basically making the London Knights our new unofficial farm team.

Also I'm not as pessimistic as you guys are regarding that Danny interview... unless of course they somehow make a push for the 1 seed between now and the deadline. Won't deny the very real possibility that they don't sell but it was at least encouraging that he DIDNT say something along the lines of "yeah, we're way more ahead of schedule than we expected"

Meltzer trying squeeze Frost into the conversation of the game is embarrassing

a hockey player on the ice touching the puck = "one of his best games of the season" lol

what about the point-blank play he had where he inexplicably goes to the backhand and misses the net completely the other night? Meltzer calls that a "scoring chance" lol

Jeff Carter Syndrome

"We dont know what we are getting with walker when we traded for him. We are suprised by his development...."!!!!

This is so bad and stupid on so many lvls!!! Its bush league lvl!!!

So he is saying he trades for a player cause the other team needs to get rid of him. Not because he know the x and o´s about him and see some untaped potential in him. Thats why he want to take a chance on him!

OMG this Staff is sooooo bad!

But they were pleasantly surprised that Staal was willing to come here  F***ing idiots.

Some speculation on the Jets board that you guys are in on Logan Stanley (or someone else on our roster).

Our GM was at your game vs Colorado in person, and tonight Bob Murray and another one of your pro scouts were at our game vs Anaheim.

Jets fans have been putting Logan Stanley in every trade proposal like he moves the needle for quite some time. You guys clearly wouldn’t mind losing him

Yeah he's the odd man out for us and supposedly requested a trade last year - feels like he's being showcased now that he's back in the lineup regularly.

Here's the source for my previous post forgot to include it before:
