This is where I am. Something is up, but we just have to wait before calling Hart a shit person.

It would very much fit this cursed franchise. From Lindros to Primeau to Pronger to Lindblom to the earlier tragedies. I don’t believe in actual curses, I just hope I am there to see things even out in the future. Michkov falling to us is a great start.

I get that everyone wants to know and it’s completely understandable why given the awful behavior of a nebulous group of people. But given that this is not a dumb hockey trade rumor or something, just wait it out for Strang or whoever else to have it. You’ll drive yourself nuts connecting tea leaves.

And when they do come out, don’t let the people that covered it up off the hook. They’re despicable too.

Daly said theyre going to release the details before training camp opens so maybe we'll get an answer soon, all we can do now is spread rumors like responsible adults

Taking on Peterson's contract seemed odd even if it was merely a salty dump. With the way that Ersson played last season, anyone could see that he was not going to go down to LHV in '23-24. Burying Peterson there makes little sense. Then the Flyers are pushing hard to get Fedotov here this coming year. Add in drafting more goalies and cutting a deal to bring over Kolosov in another year sure looks like Hart is on the way out one way or an other. Perhaps this scandal is the other.
I can see the Flyers going with Ersson and Peterson in goal to start the season. If Fedotov is here and adjusts to NA ice fast enough, he'll be up by Xmas.

I'm not ready to indict Carter Hart. I'm actually really hoping for his sake, for the team's sake and for the sake of kids who have looked up to him for years that this isn't true.

But I'd hope everyone in here can agree that if he is named in that report as one of the ones involved, he deserves all the bad names and then some.

I didn't post that to start a witch hunt btw, just an interesting nugget as the NHL fumbles the bag on actually releasing the report (which would end the speculation). Carter and his team could also end the speculation with a definitive and forceful denial of his involvement.

itll be perfect timing if they make any announcements this week. maybe we lose 2 goalies lol

I’m with but think Ersson will be the starter for the phantoms.

Just curious I thought Hockey Canada was releasing the report.

Demidov looks to be in a tier above Kiviharju. He's going to have an Aatu Raty type of tumble, and then eventually get picked TOO low and end up a steal.

Where are you getting this from? This has more to do with protecting the integrity of contracts and the transfer agreement than the Flyers desperately wanting Fedotov to tend goal for them in 23-24.

What’s everyone’s projections/hopes for Foerster? 7 pts in 8 NHL games is great but he might have been running on adrenaline. 0.75 ppg in the AHL is really solid too. I’m hoping he can turn into a great middle 6’er.

Maybe cynical but I’d rather just move on from the Fedotov thing.

Why risk angering Russia when Matvei is the real prize? It sucks what happened with Ivan, for him more than anyone - but anything that could even be construed as poking the bear is foolish imo.

Somewhere between Matthews and McDavid. My fantasy league quite literally depends on this and I don't think Forester would led me down.
