If you're rebuilding, you don't trade young players for draft picks (unless we're talking top 3). Makes no sense to trade someone who's a NHL player for a draft pick that might be a NHL player 3 years from now.

TK will be retired by the time this team finishes rebuilding.

Step 1) Fire every single person currently employed by the team. Start from scratch like an expansion team sans expansion draft
Step 2) Trade everyone
Step 3) Build from the ground up into respectability. This will take 10 years before things start to get good.

Alternative: Spend 5 years wasting time with Briere and Tortorella, then hope that 10+ year period begins; it won't.

any and everyone is on the table as they have zero untouchables, never said just draft choices. You can make a hockey trade. Get a prospect or even "younger" player who is still on an ELC as an example.
Same issue.

The only reason you'd trade someone like Farabee is a player who'd be a better fit going forward, a 1RHD for example.
But since LW is a weakness in the Flyer organization, it would have to be a heck of a RHD or center to even consider it.

Which is why players like Hart, TK, Laughton, Provorov are more likely to be moved, trading a 26 year old RW for a package headed by a 22 year old player with more risk and more upside is a rebuilding move. Trading a 23 year old LW with a lot of upside for a 21 year old who is less proven doesn't make as much sense.

It's pretty crazy that a a hypothetical expansion team coming in next season would already have a better shot at winning the Cup within the next 5-10 years than the Flyers, who spend to the cap, and have "unlimited" non-cap related resources. I would rather be an Atlanta Thrashers fan right now and they're only rumored to be returning a few years down the line. That's how dysfunctional this organization is thanks to Comcast and the Bullies.

More likely yes based on timeline, will they? no imo as this is not the flyers way.

You just buy all the talk the 3 headed monsters spew. Those 3 in bold players they love and do not want to move them. No team is going to come banging on the door with an overpayment on any of them. Hart I am not sure, though I don't think they move him either. wont be shocked when they announce the Hart long term ext in a few months.

If Ivan is moved it is because he has asked to be traded.

The only thing those worthless decrepit mummies are bullying these days is their own team and fans.

why are Farabee and Frost left off Chuck's list? also, the only top player is Giroux. part of the issue is that this team hasn't drafted a star player in 17 years. the scouting/development staff is abysmal.
