It wouldn’t surprise me if this is an intentional approach by the team in order to get people to talk about them.

Jones said to be more like the Eagles where people are always talking about them was their goal during his radio rounds so…

I bet it is also being driven (or encouraged) by Senor Comcast and business ops for the purposes of "ramping up engagement" and "driving sales" and "increasing exposure" and "no dating between employees" and "the last one to use the microwave must clean it."

Jumping to conclusions? In deals like this, involving various players and their agents, there are probably multiple leaks, and a good reporter takes info from different sources and figures it out.

TK and what? I don't think you'll be able to get picks in the top 10 of this draft without overpaying, maybe if a GM feels there's a big dropoff after #8, but even then, they may figure their 8th best player could fall to #10.

Much more likely is say #17, #42 and a top prospect (Buffalo)
Ok, now that's hilarious coming from you

Every day, I just keep thinking

I want them to make so many trades that next seasons top line and d pair is:
Nic D-Cates-what’s left of Atkinson
Seeler-Fisto

Uh, when you have deals where you have to ask players/agents for permission to waive their NTC and/or whether they'll sign, how do you keep it secret?
Or why do we know about other teams' deals? Maybe because when there are a lot of moving parts, people gonna talk.
It's like all those silly movies with government conspiracies, other than "Deep Throat", it's rare for anything to stay secret in Washington for long, why would you expect sports to be any different?

There can be a legitimate strategy to leaking in order drive interest/conversations. But airing out half-complete deals as imminent and creating this media frenzy is a mess.
Since one of the players in the St Louis deal has a NTC he doesn’t want to waive, that’s always going to get out.
