A "little time", he's been under contract for over two and a half years now.

Damn can you imagine how bad he was when he was signed?

I kind of assumed he was produced in a test tube at Titan Towers in an effort to create Vince's ultimate wet dream.

Like I've said before. It's been reported that he can work, he's just not showing anything on TV so that they can hide it for later. They're just doing the big man monster stuff right now.
Interesting. Awful matchup even if he is somehow a brilliant worker.

It's just bad New Gen booking to me. Same crap they used to do with Taker back then with GG and Bundy.

It's like a side show act. Vince's monster section. And it sort of makes sense for Strowman, but Taker is so far past that crap in his career now.

He is a legend and you would think should only be involved with legends or matches that at least give off the illusion of a big fight feel (even if we know he can only go so far at his age).

It really also goes back to breaking the streak looking like a bad idea in hindsight. Taker loses a good amount of Mania appeal without it outside of a legit retirement angle IMO and I'm a Taker mark.

Undertaker hasn't been asked to work with Strowman and there's some speculating that Undertaker would say no to working a one-on-one match with him even though Vince "really, really" wants it.

The Big Strow can't possibly have a remotely entertaining match with Taker considering where both of them are in their careers.

I know Taker is the ultimate company guy but he has to veto this.

This match doesn't help anyone. Strowman won't look good. Taker won't look good. It won't help Mania and it won't help out long term.

There is no positives from this.

tbh if Taker WAS the ultimate company guy he would have given Wyatt a rub by now. He has to realize he's on his way up and Bray should/could be handed his torch.

I have no doubt Vince would be adamant about Taker winning but if Taker told Vince that Bray should win.. Well...I think Bray would win.

It's not even Wrestlemania. Taker wins that...fine I guess but you can't even give Bray the win in that stupid tag match?

Meh.

I don't know what Taker would do, but if I were him and Vince pitched a match with Strowman at Mania I'd tell him to go **** himself.

I'm pretty sure Taker does not make the call in the results of his matches because he is that much of a company guy.

Some guys complain about the booking and some guys just don't. Daniel Bryan is the perfect example of just going out and doing the job. If taker stood up for himself he would have never had to give Brock the streak.

He wanted to give Brock the streak at Wrestlemania 27.

Losing the streak has always been Taker's call, there have been opponents that have refused to take it though. The list I keep hearing includes Orton, HBK and Edge.

if undertaker still had the streak do you guys think he would even be considered to face mid card chumps like wyatt last year and strowman now?

that's all you need to know about how WWE devalued the undertaker, and the streak.

Is there...anybody who Taker didn't want to take the streak? Seems like everybody has been mentioned outside of like...HHH.

Wyatt, yes. No way to Strowman, though.

Basically, no. One thing 'Taker has always wanted was for someone to benefit from his streak, for it to be passed on to give someone the big boost. Right now we're at the half way point, so to say. Lesnar currently has the mantle, and is in total monster mode. The person who beats him will be the one taking the real boost from it.

The streak became a thing at Flair (#10) in that the referenced him going '10 and 0 at WrestleMania'. At XIX they questioned if, what essentially became a handicap match, would be the end of Undertaker's 'undefeated run' at WreslteMania, but Orton was the first to say "I want to end Undertaker's streak" and that was #13.

Since then his list of opponents have been:
Henry, Batista, Edge, HBK, HBK, HHH, HHH, Punk, Lesnar, Wyatt.

The only one I can even slightly see him saying no too is Mark Henry.

The other thing with the Streak, is that before it was a thing that was talked about, it isn't terribly impressive.
