Brock, post Taker streak, has been an amazing sight. No doubt in my mind.

However, Cena vs Taker for the streak in an I quit match would have been the best WM buildup ever.

I always envisioned Cena ending the streak by blatantly cheating and turning heel in the process. Waffle Taker with a fold away chair when the ref is down, use the ropes as leverage etc. Would have been a great heel turn. The boos would have been magnificent imo.

Cena/Taker retirement match and Cena loses (so he can be with his wife and film a movie or two). That... would... blow people's minds. Plus when Cena came back, he'd be bigger than ever.

Honestly think it has to happen as you are good out both ways. Its wrestling so it would be easy to make it a double retirement somehow.

But ya, having Taker retire Cena so he can go do his thing would be shocking. So many things you could do with this match that it would be foolish NOT to do it.

Hell I would do it this year if Cena makes the miracle return as it gives Cena the out for the rest of the year to heal, and do his thing. Then rematch next year and he puts Taker out. I could see them having Taker walk off without "officially" retiring to leave the door open for future matches down the road (Finn etc.) open deal sort of thing. We know he is done, but you never know type of thing.

I'm not bored of deadman Taker, well I'm bored of how he does it recently with...the...long...pauses...

Keep the hat, the jacket, the 40 minute entrance, but talk normal. Honestly I don't want Taker cutting a long "real" promo in ring. Rather keep the real stuff for interviews after he is done.

PWInsider is reporting Strowman vs. Taker at Wrestlemania and Strowman vs. Lesnar at Summerslam depending on how Strowman performs at Wrestlemania.

He's a Vince McMahon project and everything regarding Strowman, including the way he picks someone up or walks, is directly from Vince.

It's such a **** idea. So is he going to break from Bray?

Also doesn't this kind of bury Bray a bit if his black sheep is getting bigger matches then him now?

Brock vs Bray
Taker vs Strowman

Not sure one is really bigger than the other at this point, but I see what you mean. It just sucks seeing Bray lose all the time. He'd be a great World champion with just a little work, IMO.

I would rather Bray vs. Strowman for a built up leader of the Wyatt family or something silly like that and get Dean vs. Lesnar.

Add in Strowman getting Brock at Summerslam? Then it starts looking lopsided unless bray is magically in the title picture or holding the briefcase at minimum

IMO Strowman in a big match period is the worst. Just the worst. I also don't want to see Wyatt vs. Lesnar with how it has progressed. Ambrose/Lesnar has been way better.

So if we get to Fast Lane and it's as easy as Wyatts take out Lesnar... color me bored.

You're better off building Strowman before feeding him to any big time faces. He's nothing right now. Let him win the battle royal at Mania then put him against someone at Summerslam.

The thing that interests me is if Strowman wins and Lesnar beats Wyatt we have a really interesting match at SummerSlam as to who would win.

Match off again?

PWInsider Elite (via Wrestling Inc) reports that WWE may have cancelled their plans for The Undertaker vs Braun Strowman at Wrestlemania 32 due to fan backlash. Vince McMahon was reportedly a big fan of the match and was interested in building up Strowman. However, the huge negative reaction from fans online in the first 24 hours after the story leaked was noticed by the company, which may pulled the plug within those same 24 hours. However, the website notes that McMahon is always changing plans and the match could end up happening anyway.

Meanwhile, WWE also has back up plans for Undertaker. While those plans aren’t known to anyone but a “small circle of people”, it’s said that his Wrestlemania opponent will be someone “totally unexpected”.

If this is case why is Reigns still being pushed? :sarcasm:

Not shocked. I sort of got from Alvarez that this is really a Vince thing and other people are pushing hard for Vince not to go with this idea because its a bad idea.

Its still Vince's choice (unless Taker vetos it), but it seems there aren't yes men here with this one.

strowman is exactly the type of guy punk and the "internet" fans complain about getting so many more opportunities due to size, the guy sucks and yet here he is, possibly in a marquee match at WM...

Any talk of Undertaker vs. Strowman is 99% dead according to Meltzer.

Taker vs. Owens is also a no-go, which shouldn't be surprising considering how ****** his booking has been since the Royal Rumble where he's in a 50-50 feud with Dolph Ziggler of all people.

I'd be down for Taker vs. Harper. High profile match? Maybe not, but Harper would probably get the best non-gimmick one-on-one match out of Taker since Punk at Wrestlemania 29.

I bet it'll end up being Taker vs. the Family, in a handicap match.

Taker going over in the end, naturally.

Because the Wyatts can't have anything ice.
