Kind of weird that Sixeiro said he "wouldn't elaborate" but then Matheson and McGrath both got a straight answer out of him. So was Sixeiro not listening and missed the actual comment? Or does he suck at asking the right questions? Or did he phrase it that way because it might generate more intrigue (because just reading the "won't say he's vaccinated but can come across the border." would definitely play into people speculating and theorizing in all sorts of wild ways about the meaning and mechanics of such a claim far more than "he got the shot and it's a non-issue now."

It's essentially all the options after the first one.

They have significantly outperformed their baseruns so I wouldn't say they're at this level quite yet, but considering the talent that they have in the high minors, there's a lot to be excited about with that org.

Adley coming up completely changed the game for that team.

Dude's accumulated 2.3 bWAR in the 56 games he's appeared in this season. That's ridiculous. First hitter since some guy named Ted to put up 20+ xbhs and 25+ walks in that span as well. To top it all off he seems like a great guy too. Every clip I see the dude looks like he's having the time of his life. As evidenced by a montage somebody made of him

The seeds planted by stinking for so long are starting to bloom and there's more on the way with Grayson Rodriguez and Gunnar Henderson not too far from making the jump.

On one hand he rips the Jays for getting a guy who is unvaccinated and gets fans riled up and then rips fans apart pats the team on the back for adding depth at the deadline after it was known Merrifield was vaccinated. He should stick to the weather, traffic on BT.

So just read a tweet on another board that says along the lines that Angles owner Arte Moreno told executives he couldn’t trade Ohtani at the deadline while Trout and Rendon are out with injuries. This dude is so short sighted, all he’s worried about is ticket sales. That night he said that the team sold 25k tickets just because Ohtani was pitching. Disgusting owner, probably the worst owner in baseball and one of the worst in all of sports.

I understand where the Angels are coming from though. You don't wanna be known as the team that lost Ohtani and Trout, no matter what happens, they must find a way to contend with these two in their primes

That ship has kind of sailed.

Ohtani only has a year left before he walks himself to free agency and now Trout has injury issues that will likely mean his best years are behind him.

The issue that many teams find out is, pitching is generally speaking a young mans game. Its very hard to build a great pitching staff by just throwing money at it, you actually need to be able to develop arms.
