Fair.
How the heck to you beat a Dodgers team with Soto for the Chip though?
That is one hell of a scary team. They will prob pick up Ohtani next year.
Who in particular would they want to sell off if I'm following here? Don't think I have seen anything.Contenders with surplus of starting pitchers (Astros, Padres).
Ya, probably. At least he took a stance. You love to see the hot takes of "X player is drawing interest from these teams, he may be traded but they also may keep him".Heyman? Alright, that guarantees Reynolds will bed moved.
That's true but at least you'd be in the world series with a chance.
Yankees get Soto and they could easily be a even more dominant force the next 3-5 years right when the Jays are supposed to be winning.
Soto would absolutely abuse the RF short porch.

The Morosi and Olney special.

To that end the Blue Jays’ focuses, according to another industry source, appeared to be on adding a starter and two relief pieces, with a lean toward the rental side.
Lol pretty muchHeyman? Alright, that guarantees Reynolds will be moved.
Soto?
What have you actually seen of Moreno and Tiedemann to come to this conclusion?Must be hard to make trades when everyone is steadfastly insisting on asking for Moreno or Tiedman in every trade (or Martinez, but I don't think he's worth coveting...unless you mean the outfielder, in which case he is). Adkins alluded to as much when he said the asking prices are "too high".
Sorry, folks, but we might have to accept a universe where we have to trade Moreno (or Kirk). Jansen's return seems to be having a large effect on stabilizing the rotation, so it's probably not the best idea to trade him. And I believe Moreno will ultimately be the better overall player in the long run. And we simply can't trade Tiedman. That's exactly the kind of player we need going forward.
