Got real lucky with this one, could have been pretty bad, everyone was wrong on this one which is crazy.

Confidence in the forecast was extremely high because every major model predicted nearly the same path, yet they were all wrong. It will be interesting to read the after-the-fact analysis by meterologists on this one as I dont believe I've ever seen that before. Escaping like we did on this was probably the equivalent of putting one red ping-pong ball and 99 white ping-pong balls in a bag, reaching in, and pulling out the red ball.

Not huge but I was happy to see this one the camera.

Nice detail on the velvet. What brand camera?

Wildgame Innovations Cloak 8. It's a cheap camera you can get for under $80. I bought a couple of them specifically for public land so if they disappeared it wouldn't hurt much ..but I'm pretty good at hiding stuff :).

Trigger speed is a bit slow and some people say it doesn't take great night pictures. But I've been very happy with them.

I've heard mostly bad things about that brand in terms of picture quality, but those look pretty good to me. I use Browning as I'm more interested in video and they're decent for that, but they're not perfect either. I've had a few failures out of only about 6 total cameras, but the good thing with them is they've replaced everything / stand behind it.

Might be the end of the line for me for iPhones.

Apple has been way to happy with removing ports and streamlining their products overall.

I don't get the idea of wireless headphones. Who wants to dig through a purse or backpack for them, or constantly lose them?

Apple seems happy telling people what they want. Everyone knows that having contempt for your clientele is a great business model.

Made the move to android after the iphone 4 got dated. So many phones to chose from at many price ranges. Additionally having removable batteries, and easy to repair screens on a variety of phones was important to me. On a lot of high end phones you could get a replaceable batteries for 10-15$ and not have to carry around a charger or external battery.

Not only do you have the privilege to pay $700 for the phone, but the headphones are and additional $159 which sounds god awful. Apple has a cult following but now you're really gouging your customers.

Getting rid of wires sounds great but how easy are they going to be to lose? Then you have to carry the charger for the headphones too. I'm sure Apple has made sure that you can only use their headphones with the iPhone.

Internal batteries are a dealbreaker for me. I'm using the Samsung S5, which is the last of the Galaxy line to use replaceable batteries. I'm hoping that by the time I need a new phone they'll come to their senses and bring those models back. Internal batteries are a regression in technology, not an advancement.

iPhone is the only smart phone's I've ever had.

Had the 4S and it lasted me over 2 years. Was eligible for an upgrade last December and it stopped charging and died on me this past April. Sucks because I lost a lot of pictures and contacts from it and can't even turn it on now.

Got the iPhone 6 in April and have been pretty happy with it.

My only complaints so far are that their chargers suck and aren't long enough. I went through quite a few chargers with my last one, because I'd plug it in and sit down a couple feet away from where I'd have it charging and the insulation would start breaking and coming apart and the wiring would even sometimes start to split.

But with this one, I try not to sit too far from where it's plugged in when I need to use it while it's charging.

Which you wouldn't have to do if your phone had an internal battery! :deadhorse

I keep an extra battery in my pocket (it's small), an extra battery in my glovebox, at home, etc....

Guess who's phone is never, ever, ever, dead?

A wearable device for playing Pokemon Go will be released next week, priced at $35 and containing vibration notifications that could improve the game's safety.

Brilliant!

Nintendo is going to profit off the "antidote" for their own game. I may need to invest in this company.

Hot Peppers? Anyone growing them? Any idea's on what to do with a huge bag full of super hot's?

My boss gave me one such bag. Carolina Reapers I believe, both big chocolate looking ones and the smaller red. I've pickled some, and made some salsa, but these things are wicked.

Guy told me about adding them to a bagel with cream cheese, and that was some key advice, especially with some garden fresh cherry tomato's. But I'd have to eat about 100 such bagel's to get through this bag.

What else?

A lot of the removal of ports and removable batteries has to do with waterproofing. The fewer seams and holes on the phone, the less expensive and less difficult it is to make waterproof. For some reason all the companies have decided that waterproof phones are important to people.

Holy crap! Do you know that this is the current world record holder for hottest pepper on earth (see link)? Hotter than even Habenero's and the deadly ghost peppers.

I'm growing Dragon Cayenne's in the garden. I pick them after they turn bright red as that's when they achieved maximum heat. Then I dry them. You can break them up and toss them (seeds & all) in stir fries like chicken etc... for their heat.

I also take fresh red ones and use them in homemade salsa.

You can also make your own homemade hot pepper sauce with salt, garlic, onion, water, vinegar, oil etc.... look online, tons of recipes that may or may not include some of the ingredients I just listed. Super easy to make.

You can also take the dried peppers and grind them up into a powder. Very useful for adding as much or as little heat to your cooking as you like.

Is that what is it? I was told by someone it has to do with marketing, because they can make the phone look sleeker and with less lines, etc.. if it's one contained piece.

If it is for waterproofing, that seems really dumb to me and IMO you'll see a replaceable battery phone comeback. Similar to how the "thing" in the early to mid 2000s was the drive to make the phone as small as humanly possible (remember the clamshell?). Yeah.... that lasted all of about 5 years.

In my experience the "world record" hot peppers are only a little hotter then a habanero.

I mean these reapers that I have are super hot, but habanero's are too. Heck even a fresh jalapeno can be real hot.

Funny but a guy I knew who grew em was in my store the other day, and I ask him how his crop was, and from his pocket he pulls out a ghost/scorpion hybrid. Which again was super hot.

Me and this kid were nibbling on it through out the day. It was pretty fun.

I have no experience with them, never even seen one "in person" as they're a variety that's literally only a few years old, but if you just go by the midpoint of the scoville units they're supposedly > 7X times hotter than a typical habenero (assuming the CR has been allowed to fully redden on the vine). I definitely would like to like to try and grow a plant of them next year for poops and giggles.

Now I don't know if these are as hot as typical reapers, and trust me I am not arguing that these things are not hot, cause they are, but I've had some really hot habanero's as well.

Granted I haven't had a straight habanero in awhile, and maybe my tolerance is higher now, due in part to Miss Renfro's ghost pepper salsa, which is without question hotter then her habanero salsa.

What I find noticeable about the reapers is, and I have no habanero comparison on this, when I chop a bunch up, the heat gets into the skin on my fingers and it can stay there for a week. And when I eat them, I feel the heat on my lips like hours later. So I wonder if there is some cumulative effect in those rankings.

Like Habanero is one day at 95 degrees hot. Where a reaper is like 3 days at 100 degree's.
