Why are there so many Australians in Canada? Getting drunk with these ******* in Banff and I have no idea what they are saying. I just keep nodding and smiling. My wife is talking to this couple and I swear I can't understand a single word they're speaking. When they speak it almost sounds like they are deaf and can't fully comprehend vocalization.

Talk to this one dude today who was from Edmonton and was pretty upset about Hall. Was curious what I thought about Larsson. I was diplomatic as not to start an international inccedent. But he didn't believe me that his mom can skate better.

canada and australia have this kinship ….theyre like the canada of the southern hemisphere.

maybe thats why i can understand the accent

i also have relatives there and hope to take a trip hopefully in the next few years

Yeah, Australians suck.

They were actually a lot of fun just could understand what some of them were saying. Not all of them, but some of them didn't speak an understandable language.

Home now after 10 days in British Columbia and Alberta. I love western Canada in a similar way I love the western US. Good no nonsense straight forward people.

Excluding the Tetons(because nothing is more spectacular) the Canadian Rockies might be more beautiful than the US Rockies.

I only caught 78 trout in 4 days of fishing

And oh my god. The Pokemon stuff is out of hand in Calgary. I walked around Prince's Island park and there were easily 100+ people walking with their heads buried in their phones looking like zombies.... I was a little shocked by the age variation of the people participating in the silliness.

I went the right time of year . In the winter you can't even see what the mountain looks like. It's like a really hot chick covered by a giant white blanket.

But...

Colorado is pretty spectacular from the Maroon Bells in Aspen to the San Juan's in the south west out to Estes Park in the East...then there is the Sawtooth's in Montana and eastern Idaho running to the Bitterroots. There are some pretty amazing places here in the U.S. but western Canada is pretty dramatic and it seems a lot of people/Americans are unaware of them

I love the mountains so much.
