1, 2, 3, 4, 5.Great, they were for a minute, at a 1/5 chance after being at the bottom and with a similar record to Montreal for half the year. What a success.

This and it wasnt even a sens fan that started the thread.Sucks that we seem to have played ourselves out of contention, but we should also be careful of moving the goalposts too much. The general consensus was that we wanted to be playing meaningful games down the stretch this year, and for a while that was very much in doubt until they turned it around.
Id take the sens roster moving forward too.I mean, we talking current day roster? I have no problem admitting that today's Sens roster is better (although the Standings suggest it's extremely close). Your forwards are deep, I'll give you that. Stutzle is an absolute game-breaking stud (just dives a bit too much). Tkachuk is a dominant power forward (who needs to learn to win with class.) Kinda ironic with all the show-boating that he does considering he's never won anything. Giroux has played like a monster this year. The Norris injury was unfortunate too, he's a nice player. Then you have Mr. Team Canada World Juniors legend Drake Batherson as well, but his +/- would make most PGA golfers enviable, and well his *alleged* off ice issues are pretty disgusting.
Your prospect cupboard is empty though. We have tons of studs coming, and 6 picks this year before you even make 1 in the 4th round. You didn't have a first rounder last year, don't have one again this year, and you wasted your 10th overall pick in 2021 on a scrub. I have no doubt in my mind we will reach where we want to reach before you do. Pierre is building to squeak into the playoffs, Yzerman doesn't give a shit about squeaking in, he's building for a Cup.
I will enjoy watching our 2 teams go head to head in the coming years, and I have no doubt in my mind Detroit is a contender before Ottawa.
You too! Enjoy missing the playoffs yet again, and looking forward to your 4th round pick.
When the entire team is under 25 for the most part it usually means there is more room for improvement. If they are older than 25 there is less development. Its not isolated to the sens. Detroit and Buffalo for example will both continue to improve too.Yes only the Senators can get better, not the Panthers. Thanks Tips

He’s been very good actually!Chychrun showing the Sens how he used to waltz back in Arizona![]()
This likely puts final nail in Senators playoff chances.

You tell meWhat happens when the sens shooting percentage improves to the mean.
No 17 in stripes did.
The main thing I learned from this image is that Nashville’s home scorer has to be on something when doing his jobYou tell me

I mean you are you, but please. According to calculations, they have 1,1% chance to make it. That's a "good shot"? Lmaocrazy thing is, they still have a good shot making it
Solid contribution.enjoy golfing for the next decade.
Never said trouble just pointed out this is as good as that team is gonna get.
Do you think as a team they're going to get better? Their entire team are in their primes. Simple concept not so simple for simple people I guess.
I thought the Sens would fall short due to the brutal schedule. But their main problem now is 2 rookie goalies that should be in the AHL that are getting lit up. The team isn't good defensively either. If it was Forsberg - Talbot, they'd be a lot closer, but would still probably fall short of the playoffs.
