I want Newhook so bad that I need to keep my hopes very low so I’m not crushed if it doesn’t happen.

If we end up with Kakko and Newhook, all I want then is Broberg and I’d give up both 2nds to see it happen.

Goran Stubb compared Kaapo Kakko to Mikko Rantanen. Stubb said Kakko can play both wing and center. Depends on what the team wants. Kakko will be playing in the NHL next season.

I didn't tell anyone one here but the night of the lottery I texted one of my friends that if we won a top 2 pick in the draft I would donate $100 to a charity and will donate $5 for every goal the player we took scored during their rookie year. Guess the big man upstair heard this and actually gifted us with #2 oa. A month later I finally made good on that first promise and hopefully I have to shell out a pretty penny at the end of next year.

I think his point is that if their social media team's postings are any guide, there's no question the Devils are taking Hughes...

But, no way do I see the Devils passing on a potential American franchise center in Hughes that would sell tickets for them. Even if Shero did want to take Kakko over Hughes, I'm not sure the Devils ownership would let him.

He doesn't. That type of second guessing gets you fired.
