Posted less than 8 hours before Fenix drove Moxley head first into the mat, then decided the best course of action for a guy who was clearly f***ed up was to pick him up by the neck and drive him head first in the mat again.
I look forward to Cornette going on a deserved 20 minute rant about this...

The only saving grace is that Moxley is brain dead to begin with, so if anyone was gonna get dropped on their head he was the best bet
It's Mox's version of Alexa being hyperflexible to do the broken arm spot. Just keep dropping him on his head. Can't get dain bramage if you've got none!

MJF is the biggest star AEW has now without Punk.
Jericho. sting have the “names” But todays wrestling MJF is the biggest star there
I know it takes two to tango but TK should do all he can to get Mercedes and build around MJF and her.

Honestly, I'd consider him the biggest even when Punk was there.
Punk obviously has a more mainstream name as an initial draw, but is well past his prime and was out of the spotlight for years.
AEW viewership is literally dropping 150K - 200K after MJF's segments regularly.

Mercedes honestly sucks.
She has name recognition, but she is a terrible promo (especially when not produced) and not the best in-ring performer.
I would totally sign her to raise the star power of the division, but I would not "build" around her. I would use her to build real stars (like a Statlander or a Hayter). If she is not interested in that, she can continue to do NJPW and anime conventions. It would not be a big loss long term.
It's gonna take way more than one woman to fix AEW's division.
And Mercedes comes across as incredibly immature and difficult to work with.

Yeah ok LOL. She wrestles circles around any woman AEW has. The match catalogue in both WWE and NJPW is a mile long.
You don’t bring in a major star in their prime to use to just put over talent LOL.

That’s very true sadly but Tony is very clearly smitten with her publicly. If there’s one woman that could change his opinion that’s the one… WWE at one point didn’t care (Main roster) either until the match vs Bayley at Takeover.

When you get taken for granted over and over again you get up that point where you get fed up.. she’s had zero problems in NJPW, Stardom, Mandalorian or anything else outside WWE.

She has had some classics, most notably with Bayley, but she is a botch machine. "Wrestling circles any woman AEW has" is not a huge compliment. The AEW women's division is pretty barren. Mercedes sucks if you compare her to the top echelon WWE women. She is not someone worth building around. She is not worth the headache.
She hasn't been around any of those places long enough to have an issue lol.
Wrestling circles around AEW's women is like being the smartest kid on the short bus lol. Their women's division is terrible outside 2 or 3 of them. She's not bad, but she's nowhere near the top.

The ones who are stars you have to capitalize on as singles. WWE is finally at a point where they have half a dozen or so women who are legit stars that could main event a show and wouldn't make you say "Oh they had to throw a bone to the women." AEW has much less than that. You can't tie those women up in tag teams. (Even though they inexplicably did with Rhea for something like 6 months)
