So there was a small dip in the middle of the match, but still peaked over a million. I'm guessing that dip was when it looked like Page was hurt and Danielson was doing jumping jacks

I was always under the impression that the turn from 859 into the 9pm hour (and 959 into 10pm with WWE as well) were two critical segments. A lot of time, appointment viewing programs start at the start of the hour, 8/9/10, so I know for example the WWE used to trot out their bigger names at 9 and 10. During Punks long title run he was rarely the closer, but many Monday nights he would be featured at 8, 9, 10...sometimes all three slots.

They held their audience during the turn. They'll take that as a win I'm sure, and likely expected and accepted the drop at 915-930

Also the rise in women 18-34. That’s a big deal. Seems loss of Women 35-49 is responsible for the dip. They got what they wanted for that match. Just not the rest of the show.

Dynamite up nicely from last week when they promoted a live special with a world title match. So I don’t know. It seems like the difference comes in that they promoted something for CM Punk. Surprised this show was over a million.

especially being a holiday themed show. Dont the holiday specials usually tank hard in the ratings? Not to mention the show quality (well for one company) on holiday shows is usually atrocious

Dynamite was very fun this week

I have no idea what that show even is, just saw it mentioned among the most watched shows on Wednesdays.
It's a competition reality show that was once on MTV that been around for like 20 years born out of the Real World and Road Rules. I guess it still is, I never think to look at what's on MTV anymore.

Smackdown 1.972M/.48. Not too bad, relatively speaking, considering it was Christmas Eve

Rampage 589K/.26. Highest in the demo since September 24 (Arthur Ashe show) and highest toal viewership since November 5. Airing at 9pm Christmas night/Saturday instead of Friday 10pm, and this show went against the NFL as well. Median age 43, which was the same for Punk's debut. This seems better than expected.
