Meant to mention this the other day, but the numbers for dynamite definitely going to get skunked by thanksgiving eve, as it has the first two years.
I never put any stock into the holiday shows for any promotion. As long as they don't fall prey to throwing together a last minute "insert holiday pun" throw away match they'll be fine. I'm all for using an easy gimmick match on a holiday, but at least use it to progress a feud.
I'll be tuning in Wednesday to a superior show with superior wrestling. I don't really care what others do with their time. Nice to watch wrestling when the show zooms by instead of watching RAW where it feels like you're sitting, waiting for your own execution.Should be a big number tonight for AEW. You have 2 megastars (Punk and Danielson) both in singles action and a huge 8 man tag that has 6 former WWE superstars. Plus they're live from Chicago which is always a white hot crowd. Some will say ratings will decline because it's the night before Thanksgiving and a lot of people go out. However, the AEW fanbase doesn't strike me as the type to hit the bars and clubs. They are a loyal group and I believe they will stay in and watch their beloved Wednesday Night Dynamite!

AEW is the type of crowd that it’s exactly what they do demonstrated by the last two years. They will DVR and watch it this weekend. Both the last two years they were in Chicago as well. The other side is that Punk wrestling does draw bigger Chicago numbers and the show is sold out.Should be a big number tonight for AEW. Let's go Wade!!!Smackdown 2.149M/.57

You were told it was going to happen, nobody buys your shtick.Let's go Wade!!!
It seems like ever since "the booker of the year" posted that infamous tweet, both his shows ratings have gone down the shiter.
Go chase the egg.I'm expecting an impressive number from AEW tonight. An absolutely stacked card loaded with ex WWE superstars. Both megastars (Punk and Danielson) in singles action. I've never heard of the guy Punk is wrestling, but according to reddit this is a HUGE matchup. A street fight between two former WWE mid/lower card guys and we get to see Mr. Ass.
I love how much you care, It's legitimately hilarious.AEW 861k/.31
Both are the lowest for Dynamite in its normal timeslot since May 19th.
Last week the excuse was all the AEW fanboys were out at the bars getting shitfaced. What's the excuse this week?
