Yikes. And that was a rare live episode of Rampage. Can’t be a good sign for the PPV buys. All metrics are down significantly from their previous PPV. It appears Punk and Danielson have moved the needle in the wrong direction lol.
highest rated show on TNT for the night - at 10pm and third in it’s time. Turner likes them enough to not move them to TBS.

How do the ratings keep track for people that PVR. I normally PVR and watch later in the night or week
I think you have to watch it within 24 hours

574k/.11(!) for NXT. 35-49 down 30%. Median viewer was 62 years old.

Should be noted since I don’t think it was ever brought up here, that Toxic Attraction are supposed to be the top stars of the brand with the idea is that it will draw horny teenagers

Decent numbers. USA was only expecting 400k for NXT plus there was competition last night (huge news night). Am I doing this right, AEW fans

No, not really. Second highest rated NBA game of the season would be more accurate.

-Lowest 18-49 since going to USA (only lower number was one of the two pre-emptions to SyFy, which means the other one beat it)
-Lowest overall viewership since February 10 (which was a Wednesday and thus went against Dynamite)
-Outside of the top 50 on cable for the night

Wrestling in general has a "This guy hasn't been cool for 15 years/should have retired 15 years ago" problem. The brand that builds an actual new star who is actually interesting will be the one who wins this war.

It should not even be a war. There is more than enough room for two companies. Especially two companies with very different wrestling products.

Yes, it is competition, but it should be an healthy one, not a "I am trying to put you out of business one".

There is enough room for two wrestling promotions! It’s not about the ups and downs of rating it’s the progress that number slowly will gradually go up which I think it will for AEW. Look where it started and where it is now.
That alone is a good sign.

Huh? It started at 1.4 million viewers. Hasn't been able to get back to those numbers.

You can tell it’s WWE cult mentality because there are actually very reasonable things you can cite as criticisms for AEW’s ratings but they never do it since it’s always the journalists and analysts who do it and thus it doesn’t register. One very specific that I’ve purposely not mentioned.

They would be through the roof if they got a million total.

It's funny, because IMO, and this is coming from someone who normally can't really get into women's wrestling, they are the best thing on NXT right now but it's not because of how they look.

The in-ring of Toxic Attraction isn’t too great but I do like the act. WWE has never had a truly strong female stable.
