Well, we all know who you wouldn’t pick out of that group.
Hang on....1st, what do you mean by "we all"? You do not speak for HF, or even your own team.
You are meerly the CEO of the Faber Fan Club.
2nd: I'm high on all 3 Dmen mentioned, as well as Hughes, Jiricek and even Clarke. How could you possibly know who I wouldn't pick if I don't even know.
Yet again, I have nothing aganist the kid, I actually like him. What I don't like is blind blind homerism.

He obviously has no chance in Hell of winning the award but I hope Benson at least gets a few votes as at 18 he has arguably been our most effective forward this season. He is likely going to end up the "how did so many teams pass on this guy" from the 23 draft.
When I thought the Jackets would be picking around 4/5 I wanted Benson. No idea why he fell that far. He was so obviously this good.

I somehow feel this isn't sincere....
Also wondering if you felt the same when Johnny Boy would try and cut thru multiple defenders.
Why wouldn't I be sincere? He's an incredible young talent that makes Hawks games worth watching.

Gaudreau was much quicker and had world class awareness. Bedard has been putting himself in bad spots a lot this year, it seemed like a matter of time before he got caught.

What's Hughes got to do with it lol?

Sidney Crosby. Look at what he did, specifically in the back half of the season where he played with Hilbert and Armstrong.
Crosby had some better help offensively, and really not close tbh.

Palffy alone was more help.

Mark Reechi, Sergei Gonchar, John LeClair, Zigmund Palffy, Colby Armstrong, Ryan whitney, Mario Lemieux were all better players than anyone Bedard has played with

You mean 40 year old Mario? 37 year old Reechi? It was the first season on Pens for Gonchar and he looked terrible. It was Whitney's first NHL season, and he wasn't that great either. LeClair was 36.

Those players all were great just by names. You can say that Seth Jones, Vlasic, Tyler Johnson, Athanasiou, Reichel aren't bad by names either.

Palffy was only there for the first half of the season. It wasn't until the second half that Crosby really took off.
Having a good veteran cast like Recchi, Palffy, Mario, and Leclair went a long way, and all were still pretty good players with Crosby.

Along with Whitney and Gonchar on the back end offensively, he just did have a much better offensive team.

Call it a hunch :)

No, because those players suck for the most part. Leclair and Recchi were still pretty good NHL players.

None of those players are except Jones and AA when he's on a heater.

I stick to what I said. 40 year old Mario would be our 2nd best player

He was on a team with other very capable NHLers. Bedard ..HAS NOTHING!

Gonna be a 2 horse race down the stretch. Bedard runs away with it if he doesn’t get hurt, but unfortunely he did. Still think he has a chance to win it

3 points and not even a + player on the night for Faber? Bust.

Haha this will be an interesting race in the 2nd half of the season, wide open if Bedard misses significant time.

Bedard-Fanboys still gonna vote Bedard even if he's going to miss several weeks. The calder trophy is the only reason why hawks fans still watching this season and the league won't let a defenseman take that away from them.
