Bedard will most likely win it but who is the candidate that Bedard is most likely up against? In my opinion it is Fantilli.

I mean. Faber for one. Carlsson with two fewer points than Fantilli in 10 fewer games played. Mintyukov with as many points as Fantilli as a defenseman. Hughes with one point less as a defenseman.

That was a goal scorer’s goal. I’m scared to check, I feel like Sabres fans might blame Levi- to me, that was as smooth as those shots go. Feels like Sabres get caught on em to an odd degree, but that specific shot ain’t really on the goalie.

Anyways, first time seeing Fantilli and I’m just impressed by that instinct. Super clean execution of that play, great awareness.

To be fair to Levi, if someone's standing there somewhat behind the net your first instinct is that you have at least a second to get you the post, he's not gonna be able to get a shot off... Except halfway through that thought the puck is in the net

Exactly, that’s where I just chalk it up to excellent execution. We’ve had so many of those scored against us, I think our D is allowing an extra quarter second there and Fantilli played it like a vet.

That’s very true! Though I’d have to think if the Hawks put up - it’s 9 goals for Columbus now - Bedard would have like 5 points. But yeah, was kidding anyway. Really nice game from Fantilli.
