Well that chance by Kreider though, and Lias stopped Elias earlier so good defensive effort by Lias earlier in 1st.

Some of us are fully on board while others keep talking about getting quick fixes. Also, a lot of fans are upset about things like the Zuc trade. Personally, I'm fully on board of the rebuild
Trust me the worst thing you could do is do a quick fix, either go all in on the rebuild or don’t.

There’s only very few examples that I had quick fixes and Worked, San Jose is one

Hi. Amateur anthropologist here. How's the mood in Blueshirt territory? Your GM is regarded with some reverence on our board for having the stones to initiate what we think is a proper rebuild. Are we in the wrong for thinking this way? Please dispel any myths regarding this.

Have a nice evening.
Gorton is kind of like Benning. Great at drafting, but the UFA/RFA signings are iffy (Smith, Shattenkirk, Skjei). Maybe the signings aren’t terrible, but this is one area where Gorton can improve. He’s also amazing at trades and tends to trade players a year too early rather than a year too late (Brassard, Stepan, McDonagh, etc.), which gives us more value. And during a rebuild, many GMs tend to hold on to older guys with character that have been with the team for a while. Gorton isn’t like that. He doesn’t care, which is good, I guess.

Jim is the opposite, he either trades people too late or just simply does not trade people that should be, killing their value completely.

Fanbase was screaming for Tanev to be traded for example a few years ago at his peak, He was starting to show injury concerns but it was not really official yet.

Now he’s injured just so much, his value has tanked hard

You guys like the job Travis Green is doing?

I can’t obviously speak for everybody, but I think more People like him and his job he’s done so far compared to what he hasn’t, there’s really not much you could do with such a lineup, and we’ve had so many injury concerns in the last few years on top of it.

He has made some bonehead moves as well, but then he does something like today where he scratches a guy like Loui and we love that.

Probably the best move he did Was making elias a centre right at the start of the year, Lots of people including myself wanted to have him start as a winger.

They are still rebuilding @Machinehead - the difference is that Canucks don`t have too many value pieces when the Sedins retired so it will take a while.

I was referring to Gorton being similar to him with drafting and free agency.
