They are still rebuilding @Machinehead - the difference is that Canucks don`t have too many value pieces when the Sedins retired so it will take a while.

It would certainly still take time and patience for everything to fall into place, but our pipeline would be set.

McDonagh and Miller are probably still Rangers with the prospect of an elite talent on the way. Zucc and Hayes both stay here for the playoff push.

Different coach probably for that roster. Hayes and Mika might not take the steps up they did because they don't get leaned on so heavily for ice time. More Lundqvist might mean he gets hurt, he's old. Like I said, lotta moving parts but I'd tend to think we'd have an old roster and be worse 2 years from now.

I don't think so. I think we were pretty committed to this.

Besides, Petersson didn't play a game in the NHL until this year, and I don't think you change your entire philosophy based on a prospect.
