I am not suggesting run it on every 1st and 2nd down but they do have to “establish” some kind of run game. The line can’t pass block either and it’s going to get KP or whoever is in killed. He took some big shots Monday night. I thought the OL was supposed to be improved. So much for thatSure but "establish the run" means running on 1st and 2nd down for 1-2 yards and ending up with 3rd and 7 regardless.
It's dumb football. Unless you have a great OL, which we do not. And we have Najee, who kinda sucks.

Is anyone but Tomlin defending Canada anymore?
When it comes to QBs, yes. But it sounds like you're referring to all positions, which is just an ignorant and stupid thing to say. Do you even follow the Steelers? Steelers have had the most pro bowlers in the league over the past 15 seasons. How many elite players have been drafted during Tomlin tenure? AB, Bell, Pouncey, DeCastro, Heyward, Watt, Highsmith, James Harrison, Timmons, Shazier. As ive said before, there is no nfl caliber player development here. Any young QB is gonna look terrible when they have a terrible staff to work with. Unless you're a freak like TJ Watt, this is probably one of the worst places to be as far as learning "the craft" that goes back to the Clown.

He was a practice squad guy until Tomlin got here. Tomlin may not have drafted him (neither did Cowher BTW) but Harrison became good after Tomlin was hired.James Harrison was Cowher's. Do you even follow this team??... HURR DURR.

I don't think accuracy and decision making is necessarily an attribute that can be taught. When he's constantly making bad throws something is wrong.why? I agree he doesn't look good but you need to look deeper to see why. and everything comes back to coaching. imo

Of course, if he played under McVay or Shanahan I'd expect better play from him. Coaching would certainly help a lot. But I don't think he would automatically unseat Purdy in SF either.

"On early downs in the first half, if the Steelers are in shotgun, they are 92% pass (#2 highest rate).
If they are under center, they are 85% run (#4 highest rate). (Via Warren Sharp) #Steelers "
Just the height of predictability.
Oh we have a couple people on here who do. But I believe 1 of them is a relative of Tomlin
It’s like Tomlin never learns.
Moore has been the worst offensive lineman in the league by a mile. 10 hurries. 15 pressures. 4 QB hits leads the league also. Only 1 sack somehow.Steelers OL Remains One Of NFL's Worst In Week 2 PFF Position Rankings
Two weeks, two rather disastrous performances from the Pittsburgh Steelers’ offensive line. Against the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football, Pittsburgh’s offensive line struggled to protect second-year quarterback Kenny Pickett and didn’t generate much running room for the second straight...steelersdepot.com
Moore has given up 15!! pressures in only two weeks.
He’s obviously the worst O-lineman in that category in the entire league.

Like I said yesterday, I don't think Jones getting thrown out there will hurt his development. The kid has a good head on his shoulders and he's so physically imposing that I think he will hold up just fine. I also have no faith in Pat Meyer as the OL coach. He has been here for 2 years and there has been no marked improvement of any offensive lineman we have had. If anything, they have regressed.
