Canada is bad but KP stinks. He's a cheaper Trubisky. Najee isn't good either. Warren is more productive. The entire offense is bottom of the barrel.

Mark Madden made a good point. If he won't get rid of Canada then he's equally at fault for the offense mess.

DK Ramon Foster we’re talking about a time when online coach was demoted, mid season kept the title, but someone else actually was coaching could very well be that here

Yeah the Oline definitely needs to improve.

Not to say that the criticisms are not justified.

However, it is only fair to point out that the Steelers played two of the top defenses in the league the first two weeks. That had to impact the ratings.

I think step number 1 right now is getting some semblance of a run game.
Maybe if teams believed that they had to defend further than three yards from the line of scrimmage on 99 percent of downs there might be more room to run.

We've harped about this point for years on here. But it seems some are finally getting it.

When your young QB looks lost..

When you can’t run…

When your Oline is a mess…

When you can’t stop the run…

When your secondary is a mess…

When your offense has spent three years putting up historically bad numbers…

What does that tell you about the coaching of a team?

They only won because Watt and Highsmith went off and scored more points than the O.

It wasn’t some great defensive effort and the O had -7 yards in Q4.

Tired of hearing excuses for Tomlin and the ppl he surrounds himself with.

Yeah, "a running game" is not going to save us. We need to stop the 8-9 man in the box first.

Put Tua or Purdy in place of KP and let me know how great they would look. KP may not be a franchise qb, but we don't know that with the current state of the coaching.

Benton should be a starter. He's a total game wrecker. With how much our defense has been on the field, Herbig should be getting 3x the amount of snaps he is. He's capable.

Moore and Cole have been huge weak spots. The middle of our line is getting absolutely destroyed. The exception I take to how this team is built is you have a power back behind a finesse line. We need 4 more Seumalo's with Najee running behind them for this to work. The league is going small, and we should be going big. I'd be playing Herbig and Jones right now. Get Washington out there as a 6th guy. Get the beef in there and let's establish the run game.

I'm so tired of the "redshirt" year mentality. Every other team can get rookies to come in and impact immediately. We never do that and we need to.

Cowherd is actually a huge Steelers fan. He's basically doing what any yinzer would do right now.

Of course the Oline is struggling, you can't just plug in 2-3 new guys and expect them to look good in week 2.

Calling Najee a power back is probably not accurate. He's certainly built like one, but he tries to run like he's a third down scat back. It's very, very frustrating.

The way this team is looking, they'll be taking off the redshirts by week 11

If you're a DC, why would you not put 8 men in the box? This offense runs right into it repeatedly. Furthermore, when is the last pass that traveled more than 20 yards recently? The 1 pass to DJ in Week 1 was easily picked

This offense doesn't threaten vertically OR horizontally. That's not Pickett- that's play design.

Again not absolving Pickett but we've now seen the same whaleshit offense over about 4 QB's and 6 years. It's absolutely how Tomlin wants to play ball

As ive said before, there is no nfl caliber player development here. Any young QB is gonna look terrible when they have a terrible staff to work with. Unless you're a freak like TJ Watt, this is probably one of the worst places to be as far as learning "the craft" that goes back to the Clown.

Mason in 2019 looked better than KP does right now. KP isn’t some raw 21 you need to develop he is 25 his ceiling is Dalton and Carr if he gets better reading pre snap and with anticipation

And again, it's because the Clown still thinks it's 2007. You'd think with the reputation he has with players around the league, you'd think he would be adaptable to the modern game.

He's a country club manager and players can take it easy because he doesn't fully know or grasp what he's supposed to be doing. After 17 years it eventually catches up and shows on the field.

How does Mason look now?

He wasn't properly developed. Plus add in the freak injury vs the Ravens.

Because they listen to the morons in the media
Yes, the morons on the media are telling me that I’ve seen Kenny miss wide open receivers by 5 yards multiple times a game and not my eyes.

Nobody is saying give up on KP, but to act like he’s not a large component of the turd sandwich that is the offense is just lying to yourself.

Ya MR did look better in 2019.

Yet the last time MR played a full game, which was in Canada’s system, he needed 50 passes just to get 240 yards… and he could only tie the 0-8 hapless Lions.

He put up a whopping 16 points.

Another Canada barn burner.

It was one of the most comical, inept NFL games ever played, with both teams trying to help the other win and neither wanted to.

Well when you Have Matt Canada as OC & Oswald Bates sticking his dick in Canada's punchbowl & OL is getting blown up & RB's have to make moves to get back to the line of scrimmage I would say Pickett is the least of their problems. Not that missing open Receivers is good But way dowwn the list

Tomlin and the Steelers org are so far up their own ass they don’t even think the last decade as a whole has been an utter failure, much less the last 37 offensive outings.

I am very much someone who believes the world is too results oriented- the funny part for the Steelers is that if they were in the business of competing for a SB BOTH the process and results have been substandard for a long time now.

Real tired of flaming mediocrity with no accountability taken, zero direction, and nice sounding world salad press conferences with no actual meaning.

In terms of the long term health of the franchise, I think KP’s development is probably the most important issue.

Yes, they need to change a lot including nuking the coach’s room, but we all know they won’t, so this season is already cooked in my mind. I’m more concerned with the progression of what are supposed to be the next franchise players for the team, and the errors that KP is making are concerning no matter how bad the scheme is around him.
