I'll be glad if they make no moves. They aren't that good. Keep the picks.

Totally agree. If they are going to make trades it should be to get picks. They can do that in the offseason.

If they do trade picks it needs to be for an impact player, for example, AJ Brown like trade. Or they need to go after a Mike Evans, Tyler Boyd, Michael Pittman, Gabe Davis in FA.

They have zero identity.

I think Canada is a massive issue, but a lot of problems were there before he came along, like a shitty running game and the mind numbing idea of running the passing game through DJ.

If you can't run the ball worth a damn, and you feature a passing game with a small, slow WR who has a franchise worse 10 YPC career avg, with only one 1000 yard season to his name.... it's really time to rethink what the f*** you are doing on offense.

They need a new center, new OC, and they really, REALLY need to add an explosive WR that can be featured in the new O.

This no running game, DJ heavy offense has produced some of the worst Steelers Os in modern history.

It's proven to be an all time disaster.

Time to face reality Tomlin and Artie.

DJ is good at getting open, but star QBs are who he needs to work with. He'd be lights out with Mahomes or Rodgers or Herbert. I don't think he has great chemistry with Kenny even now. I also think his value would be higher for us right now in trade than it is for him on the team. If KC were willing to back the Brinks truck up for him (which they may), I think you have to do it.

This team to come out of the doldrums needs to start operating like a pro football team and not a big happy family. You can keep continuity and have a good culture and not turn a blind eye to poor performance. Kenny sailed that first throw on Sunday...that's on him, but a #1 finds a way to catch a ball that smacked him on the hands. Pickens would have caught that ball. Pickens wouldn't have let that ball in the first half for a first down smack him in the face mask. That is our #1 and until this offense treats him like the #1...expect the same results.

So did we get Jaylon Johnson or naw? Yahoo sports said we did.
I really liked him in his draft year. Haven't paid much attention to him since.

Chase Young to SF for a 3rd. Awesome deal for SF

Josh Dobbs traded to Minnesota.

I would have liked to see them make a move for a younger CB with term, but none of those were actually traded so I’m cool with no moves. They’re not nearly good enough to part with picks for anything but a player that could be a future part of the team.

They should really move the deadline back a couple of weeks. Too many teams are still technically in it to sell.

They invested a #1 in KP, so Tomlin and the org can’t just sit back and assume things will magically get better.

Be aggressive like Philly and Miami.

Their QBs were being tossed aside by the media and the fans, but those org were smart enough to be proactive and find their QBs legit new weapons, and Mia brought in a new OC in Frank Smith.

There needs to be real and meaningful change, with some kind of vision behind it.

I’m not talking about a Tomlin special, which would mean they bring back the same cast and maybe replace Canada with Jackson.

We haven't had vision since Dick Lebeau retired and then mysteriously unretired a few months later in Tennessee.

Looking back Cowher had Arians and Lebeau as coordinators. Arians was run out of town because he saw where the NFL was going and the fans just couldn't accept it. Not saying I'm down with where the league is whatsoever and the lack of importance he put on the run, but yeah...Cowher was a doofus at times, but no one can blame him for having shit coordinators.

Sitting here looking at the Redskins...man how bad does it suck to be a fan of theirs. I spend time in DC for work and though its highly international, those Skins fans are really rabid. I love sitting at bars talking with them. They deserve so much more than they get.

Kp has to show something for them to be aggressive. Tua had 25 tds the season before hill got there. Hurts had 3200 yards before AJ brown. Gp can do be AJ and GP is as good as Smith in Philly. Muth has 2 straight years with 60 plus receptions

Tua had 16/10 the year BEFORE they got Hill.

He threw 25 TD AFTER they got Hill.

Hurts tossed 16/9 the season BEFORE they got Brown.

Then became an MVP candidate with Brown.

After 2022 and before those trades, fans and media were kicking Tua and Hurts out the door, and I already provided ample evidence of that before.

They showed almost nothing to suggest they would be who they are now.

It blows my mind that people blow off Tomlin’s woeful coaching tree.

I mean...they've got a QB that can at least throw 2 TDs. I think they should feel worse for us and the purgatory we are stuck in.

They've been acting aggressive for like 4 years now despite needing to rebuild. Odd to suddenly place this parameter on the team when the team has been nonsensically aggressive recently.

People expecting miracles from a 2nd year QB who was tutored by Pat Narduzzi and Matt Canada are delusional. Pickett is not the problem. It’s the offensive scheme and a shitty ass offensive line.

Oh we are in purgatory for sure. The only thing worse than doing what we are doing is having these high picks and then none of them ever panning out. Is it better to have no hope, or have hope then have it come crashing down. Chase Young was seen as a generational talent for them. The let down there has to really suck. Sweat was one of their best defensive players.

No one in this organization cares about truly winning. Caring about wins and losses is fine, but squeezing out wins from defensive turnovers just isn't sustainable. It's been over a decade since this team was a threat to any contender.

Agreed. Though he needs to make some of these throws he has been missing a lot recently.

Steelers fans are seeing what can go wrong when a team prematurely drafts a QB. The yinzers out there who convinced themselves it would be Dan Marino 2 if they missed out on their local boy, too.

If there isn’t a good system in place with quality protection and coaches who know what they’re doing at the pro level, the risk of ruining a young player’s career is quite high. KP is closer to being ruined by the Steelers’ incompetent leadership than he is to being Jalen Hurts

I think Kenny can develop but fact is he was a 3rd round prospect. It's not his fault we drafted him early and it's not his fault we played him without preparing him his first year. I think they need to ride with him now. If he sucks next year, draft a QB in 2025. I think they are committed to giving him 5 years though.

He was the most pro ready Qb in his class he wasn’t some raw 21 year old that needed time to develop. They did over draft him but he was supposed to be plug in play

I don’t think trading day 3 picks for nfl depth piece’s even though they duck is aggressive they just were plugged up holes

…you’re all not going to like this. But Pickett thus far is one of the worst Steelers QB’s of all time. Name one who’s worse. OK, maybe a few - but none of those few were first round draft picks.

There’s still some time but come on, 20 games is a growing sample size. This won’t end well.

And if Levis outplays Pickett in Pittsburgh tomorrow night? Yikes. But I’m sure a bunch of stooges will excuse him for being injured. How about stay healthy? How about throw more than a single friggin’ TD in a game for once? Only did it against a Raiders team that just cleaned house overnight.
