Until we get a new head coach and then an Offensive staff that comes in with a decent system. I wouldn't give up on any of the Offensive Players yet.

The *TWO* supposedly shitty OL are now great with other coaches. I'm sure their are some pumpkins but I don't think we can trust half this staff to make a coaching adjustment or personnel evaluations. They have been wrong for years now....

1) I like Diontae
2) I'm furious about his drop earlier
3) Irrespective of that, I would definitely explore the trade market. It isn't "giving up" on the player. We know what Diontae is - he is a good player. And a useful player to many/most offenses. But he is not a great player and he is already about to be past his prime.

Plus the dead cap situation isn't that bad with trading him. If we could get a 2nd I'd probably do it.

Radio is a dying media, and iHeart, who's seems to always be purging talent to save money isn't paying anyone on the eight rated station in the 35th market or whatever in the country anywhere near 1/3 of a million 'cause there's no way they can bill enough to cover that salary plus everything else.

I've heard radio hosts make as much or more from the ad reads than the base pay.

I hate Mark Madden, and I especially hate his weird sycophants, but he definitely moves the needle. Without him, the X would not get nearly the same listener share in the PM rush. It wouldn't shock me at all if Madden was making in the mid-6 figures.

He's not Chaos, this market is way too small to have anyone making mid 6's, there's talent in the top 5 markets in the country that don't touch those figures anymore, even though Pittsburgh is a union shop mid 6 figures was barely attainable when we were a top 20 market

And unfortunately, I don't see any significant changes in the near future.

I want Canada gone, but then I think about reality and Tomlin will just hire in house, likely Jackson.

The only way out of this cycle is to get rid of the true rot in the org, but I’m starting to buy the idea that AR2 is actually where it begins, and he’s not firing himself.

Just wait till he turns into Old man Al Davis. He partly there already. "I'm soooo grateful he's the coach"

I’m just so sick of this clown.

How did the refs cost them the game?

Being shitty on offense cost them the game and he’s a big part of the issue.

14 targets and avg 10 YPC as usual. He gets force fed the ball and rarely turns in any explosive plays, is unreliable as hell, etc

They really need to move on from him and find a legit X to run the offense through.

They have a X in GP. GP and DJ are the only thing they have on offense
The refs took points off the board for us and helped extend the drives for Jacksonville

Kenny did miss some throws today, for sure. I cannot judge anyone on the offense until we see a new coordinator. It's just that simple for me.

If Minkah plays, we win. He would have had two very easy picks, one of which was a totally blown coverage by his replacement.

I could see if the coach is winning SBs or like uh, a playoff game here and there, but what is there to be thankful for exactly?

Ya he blew two easy throws that would have been big plays, and he can’t afford to miss those in this shitty offense.

Those plays are hard to come by in Canada’s offense so he’s gotta make them.

I don’t think much will change next year the more I dwell on it.

This is what Tomlin wants - 3 yards and a cloud of dust, keep it close and win with D. He’s arrogant and thinks he can win going agt the grain.

Smartest guy in the room because he’s never told he’s the dumbest.

There are like, 2 maybe 3 good officiating crews in this league.

I don't think the Steelers deserved to be close in this game but this seasons officiating has been replacement level atrocious.

And what about last week when the refs gave the Steelers a ton of advantage in the 2nd half including giving them a 4th down conversion that shouldn’t have been that ended the game.

Blaming the refs is such a loser mentality which is what DJ and the modern Pittsburgh Steelers are.

The Steelers are a mess. But that may a be a different game if the Refs didn't muck up the first half.

No matter what Tomlin thinks,.... first halfs can decide the game.

Ok, it proves the refs suck for everyone. Last week it helped the Steelers. This week it didn’t. Having a professional athlete accusing officials of game fixing is a pretty big deal, and again just shows how mentally weak they are.

I saw him steelcitycon & I called him Flounder McHeart Attack to his face & he started his Wrestling Heel Shtick & I called his bluff & said lets go out side & dance & all of a sudden he was threatening to get the rent a cops to arrest me, Throw me out or whatever & I called him a Fat p***y to his face & he didn't do anything but keep shuffling along as fast as his fat legs could go & I got all kinds of Hi Fives, Way to Go & laughs
There is no way in hell this happened lmao.

Also, seeing the Jags players and their fans are talking a lot of **** again. I remember directing my anger at them in 2017 and getting hyped up for a playoff rematch… only to see the Steelers get their asses kicked by them, yet again, at home, in the playoffs. Same thing happened in 2007.

So honestly, whatever. We’ll be lucky to even make the playoffs, and if the Steelers see them again, great, at least they’ll have made the playoffs and would be underdogs on the road and expected to lose. And likely would, anyway. Just kind of funny how that franchise turns over all these players but the one constant of owning the Steelers continues to stay the same. I mean Tomlin is 1-5 at home against them, yikes.

It shows what DJ is all about.

Make some actual big plays for this offense and stfu.

Making volume catches for 10 yards a pop is what a broken down Hines Ward did at the end of his career, yet DJ is suppose to be in his prime and their main guy.

Last week if Mcvay had a time out he could’ve challenged he didn’t have one. We literally lost 10 seconds on a desd ball because KP fumbled and a time out on what should have been roughing the passer when kp got hurt. The refs extended 2 drives for Jacksonville leading to 6 points

If they're not gonna play him over Mistake Making Mitch, Steelers need to trade Mason Rudolph to the Vikings for a first round pick.

When there's countless players that have "maturity" issues on a team and the coaching staff has been the same, it's less the players that are the problem vs a coach that doesn't have a handle on the issue.

We should have traded DJ last season and saved whatever minuscule cap savings (~$4M?) we could have.

He had at least 2 AWFUL drops in the first quarter, then goes to run his mouth about the refs afterwards. Fix your own shit, you f***ing nitwit.

Hey now, DJ hit his awesome career avg of 10 YPC yesterday again - big time baby.

Add in Pickens talking shit all week and catching like one pass?

Then Jax punks him after the game.

You have their stupid ass penalties last week that could have cost this team the game, then all this BS this week.

As usual Tomlin let’s the loons run the asylum.

Yes, Pickens is a f***ing clown as well.

Although he does lead the league in "shit talking to production" ratio. No one comes close.
