The streak still alive and at 54 games now. #Steelers

What was the next closest team at.. 12 games?

All of the same patterns have held true since Roth was trying to run this shitty O a couple yrs ago.

Can’t score in the first half, can’t throw, can’t run (they only avg 3 YPC yesterday), and hitting 400 yards is impossible.

There has only been one constant during this time.

The funny part is that the more Canada's offense has been "instituted" the worst the offense has gotten.

I think the OL problems are both a player issue and a coaching issue, and as guys continue to have success elsewhere, I'm beginning to believe it's more coaching. Just look at the RG comparison:

Seumalo: 75.2 PFF rating last year, 64.4 PFF rating this year
Dotson: 65.4 PFF rating last year, 87.4 PFF rating this year

Dotson didn't magically become way better while Seumalo became way worse.

So Caleb Williams before his horrible previous 2 games was threatening to go back to USC if he didn't like who was drafting 1st overall, and he also wanted ownership stake in the team that drafted him. Now he is talking about quitting the college season entirely and focusing on the draft.

Whatever team takes this kid is dumb. Zero heart, zero resolve, and an ego that is only inflated by the people around him. "Best college QB ever." Not by a country f***ing mile.

I’ll be shocked if he lives up to all the hype. He’s obviously talented, but some of the highlight reel plays he makes against shitty Pac 12 defenses aren’t going to fly in the NFL.

I’m pretty sure his numbers against top 25 teams are awful too.

I said the same thing about Mahomes. I just didn't think anything about his game was going to translate, he played in an Air Raid offense, and laid some real eggs in college. Here we are.

I just can't stand Williams' ego and attitude. He's so unlikeable it isn't even funny.

Purdy with 2 picks today after a rough game last week. Will be interesting to see whether he bounces back from this, or whether the league has started to figure out his weaknesses.

Those two int's to end the game were ugly from Purdy, seemed like he was trying to play a bit of hero ball there.

I was cautious about the local hype for the Steelers to draft Addison because of the Kenny connection coming into the draft. Gotta admit he's proving me wrong. Pretty impressive rookie season thus far. Had a great game tonight against an elite defense, all without Jefferson playing too. Looks to be a pretty advanced route runner already.

Of course, he certainly isn't performing to the same level here with Canada and a 2nd year Kenny as he is paired with Cousins throwing the ball to him. Especially considering Tomlin's penchant for making rookies "earn" playing time seemingly regardless of performance, so c'est la vie.

I think even though Addison is going to be really good, we needed to invest in the OL no matter what. Jones has been a slight disappointment overall but if he is even an above average LT that is as valuable as a #1WR.

Yeah, he's done a 180 with his value since the end of last season.

Oh I agree, I'd draft nothing but off/def line and corner for the next two drafts if it was up to me. Just admitting I was wrong about Addison. I chalked his hype up to the usual local homers but he's proving legit thus far.

Yep. Jones was the right pick. Steelers have had like 1 top LT in the past 50 years and that was Marvel Smith. Jones is an athletic beast and looked good so far. Can’t wait to see him get better

They have invested a good amount of capital in the DL plus Cam and larry O are under contract for 2 more seasons. I do think they will draft a C but the o line is under contract for 2 more years

PFF's numbers mean nothing. The people reviewing do not take the time necessary to do it accurately and are not football experts. They are literally just nobodies like us rapidly scoring guys so that PFF can get attention and act like their subjective BS is objective by hiding their opinions behind numbers.

Can’t STAND that kid. Beyond entitled and everything you stated. Glad Utah has smacked him around time and time again. He’s starting to take the diva s*** beyond manziel/baker.

What is this mess about an ownership stake?

He seriously thinks an owner, who will be his employer and see him as a meat stick, would give some dumb ass kid a stake in his team?

The f*** is he smoking?

Believe such an ownership/player situation is against league bylaws anyway

I never read anything about it, so no idea.

I know Lemieux played as an NHL owner and there were concerns about his salary the first year the cap was introduced.

But that’s the NHL obviously.

I assume a player/owner trying to skirt the cap would be the biggest issue for the NFL.

Yeah, he's done a 180 with his value since the end of last season.

It's not even his play for me. He's supremely talented, and probably has the potential to be generational. If I were a team, I'd not feel confident about being able to get it out of him though. Hard pass. Mahomes read very similarly coming out of college, but the difference between he and Mahomes is Mahomes was generally a good person and an excellent teammate. That hasn't changed even with the money.

I'd imagine they could defer salary or something like that. I mean, Russell Okung took his contract in Bitcoin. What a dumb move that was now.

I’m sure they could figure out the cap stuff maybe.

However, the whole, if you draft me I’ll need an ownership stake in your team thing, is comical as f***.

I can’t believe someone would be that delusional.

I feel like the quality of football across the board this year has been atrocious. The product they are parading out there is trash and almost unrecognizable to the game most of us grew up with.

They need to put a cap on age of these refs too. You have 20 year old track stars and 65 year old guys trying to keep up with how fast these dudes are moving. They are always 10 steps behind and I think that's why you see these insane calls.
