Ben was the poster child for the current offensive game plan: HOLD ON TO BALL UNTIL A RECEIVER COMES OPENBen himself said its to much film and responsibility for him to be oc
They did at least bring up a good point that it's pretty much impossible to install a new offense mid season. Anybody they replace, will be a replacement from within. Then we all know what will happen at the end of the season, they'll just be promoted to full time and no coaching search will ever happen.Ben himself said its to much film and responsibility for him to be oc

Kp isn’t built to withstand the hits…..it’s that simple.
And THAT includes two games where more than half of those games were garbage time when we should have been able to (relatively) easily march down the field to at least get in the red zone - like every team does against us when we have a sizable lead. And now this lowers the offensive bar to below mean sea level where breaking the 20 pt barrier is going to be (wrongfully) viewed as a(nother) Matt Canada success story. Just a really unfortunate feedback loop to be stuck in… for the past 3 seasons. The Steelers have had 26 first half possessions in the first 4 games...............and have ONE single possession inside the opponents RedZone.

Rinse and repeat.
Here's the clip for anybody that wants to listen.
KP can withstand hits, but the difference between he and Ben is Ben could scramble and shift around and never let his eyes leave downfield. It was almost like he had two sets of eyes. Once KP gets pressured, he stops looking downfield. I think that comes at some point, but it certainly isn't here right now.Ben was the poster child for the current offensive game plan: HOLD ON TO BALL UNTIL A RECEIVER COMES OPEN

I'm still waiting for them to unleash hell.Does anyone even care what Tomlin says anymore?
I have zero expectations for the remainder of the season.
Oh, they will win enough games to perhaps go .500 and hit that all important never had a losing game record. Likely not, but maybe.
Even if they do though who cares?
Another wasted season and its barely begun.
Curious as to where Claypool will land. He still has potential in the right system. A team like KC or Philly would be an interesting place for him.
Typically I’m cool with good teams taking flyers but he’s a guy I wouldn’t touch. Complete loser. Not cutting a hard worker to bring him in.Curious as to where Claypool will land. He still has potential in the right system. A team like KC or Philly would be an interesting place for him.
We're all idiots. Spirts Illustrated has come to the conclusion that Canada is not a problem.

ESPN's Marcus Spears Says Mike Tomlin’s Offensive Philosophy is Outdated. "You got score 40 to win now....You can no longer go out on the field and stop people and think that you’re going to score 20 and run the ball 40 times and win football games."
Must be the only one in that room ?Tomlin knows better than everyone.
Smartest guy in the room.
