I am just honestly perplexed that there are Steelers fans calling for Rudolph over Trubisky, and I don't even like Trubisky. In this 2019 sample size where Steelers fans have convinced themselves he was "good" in, he had a 13-9 TD-INT ratio and got benched after throwing 5 interceptions in 6 quarters to a 3-6 Browns and 0-10 Bengals team. Rudolph was an absolute turnover machine when starting, he had interceptions in 6 of his 10 games and had multiple turnovers (either fumbles or interceptions) in 4 of 10 games.

If you want to start a QB based on what they did in 2019, it makes a hell of a lot more sense to be calling for Trubisky. Trubisky made the Pro Bowl in 2018 while going 11-3 with a 24-12 TD-INT ratio and was actually an effective starting QB in his last 3 seasons with the Bears (25-13 record with a 65.3% completion%, 57-30 TD-INT ratio and 89.8 rating). The Bears just got stupid and decided to downgrade from him to Fields.
I would never say that Rudolph is better than KP, but I am positive that the offense would not be any worse Rudolph.
"Lack of turnovers" means nothing if you don't score. And KP does not put up points.

So incredibly sick of this clown.

Warren had a crazy high YPC in his last couple games going into this one and it’s only going to jump after this stat line.

Edit: he’s avg 9.3 YPC in his last three games with 318 on 35 carries.

He now has b2b 100 yard games with only 24 total carries in his last two.

Pretty wild.

The Steelers never second guess. Or change. Or think.

Steelers could have won this, or at least not put the Browns in possession of the ball with much time left.

Tomlin could have been conservative and ran a lot of time off the clock the last drive.

He put the game in Pickett’s hands, let him throw three straight times and it didn’t work out.

That’s the stuff I want to see, regardless of the outcome.

So I’m not going to bitch much about this loss, even though there is plenty to rail on.

But it was what Harris didn’t say that stood out. He sounded like he was trying to avoid saying something that would get him in trouble.

Several times, he had abnormally long pauses before non-answers. He repeatedly fell back on his statement that he wanted to speak about himself, not about teammates. Altogether, it gave off strong hints that something is amiss with this team.

...

Then there was Johnson getting visibly upset on the sidelines during the second half Sunday, which was significant enough that rookie offensive tackle Broderick Jones had to pick him up and carry him away from a member of the coaching staff.

...

Harris was asked after the game if he thinks everybody on the team has a “team-first attitude.”

After a long pause, Harris replied, “I’d rather not talk about the team, I’d rather just talk about me, my performance.”

I'm calling out the play to fam and friends over 50%... and I was drinking.

Blame Pickett... he was awful. Still though, show me qb that succeeds with this HC, OC, OL Coach, OL?

Outside of Mahomes, they most likely get the same results today. Put Dack, Trevor, Tua...name them. They probably win the game, but it's 16-13 and it's just as ugly.

Tomlin's standard that he has set for the franchise is mediocrity....... Look at this last decade... focus on the the last 7 years. Dude should be fired tomorrow. What happened to Pittsburgh sports?? Sully , Tomlin.. jobs for life with such a pathetic track record. Win a championship early with someone's else team and make millions being a loser. I don't even care about the losing, I just hate the boredom. Both teams are a bore..........extreme bore even when their winning .

The team is cracking and players talk like a team that has a win - loss record the reverse of what it is.

Which is a reflection of what we all know. The system that this team is built on is unsustainable and held together with duct tape.

And the players know it.
